We just sailed out of Port Everglades and they didn’t check boarding times at all. You can just show up and go in. And this was when they were putting out about how busy the traffic and port would be that day.

This was totally my wife and I after our last cruise. We had never tried the standup until this cruise and are already pumped to get on it next cruise and try for our blue bands. My wife even got a balance board for Christmas to help get practice at home

Wow those are significantly less.

Usually it’s 30 minutes before departure time.

Throw me in the Radiance camp as it allows you to start or end in Alaska where you can then add on some days to your trip and visit the interior of Alaska to places like Denali. We did this back in 2019 and doing it again in 2025.

I really need to consider looking at other options maybe. I love Royal and the big ships, but totally agree this pricing is getting crazy.

I should probably do this so that I’m not exhausted by 9pm on the first night, but I’m usually so excited for my cruise there is no way I can fall asleep

Excited to follow along. I loved Oasis back in early 2020 when we went on it right after the refurb. Everything except Cats was great. I have booked it again for spring break 2026 for a southern Caribbean itinerary

Glad my cruise was before December. I couldn’t live up to that pressure

The wife’s work got in the way log me booking the free cruise that I wanted. There was a 7 night on navigator that was appealing, but we already have too much other vacation planned for 2024 so she doesn’t have enough vacation days. So instead booked a 3 night on Allure for March 1. Takes the sting away a little knowing I have another cruise in less than 90 days!!

They did not weigh us. There was also only 11 people so it wasn’t full at all. Not sure if that plays a role.

Getting off the ship this morning was pretty painless. Luggage was ready at pick up, got a porter right away, he loaded us up and the in laws and wife and I grabbed a cab to FLL. Started to walk off the ship around 8am and at 9:15 was sitting at the gate. Flight is 10:55 so plenty of time. While I didn’t ever get my blue wristband, I did have a good final night in the casino and walked off the ship up money while also getting a free cruise!! Guess it’s time to book and plan another trip.

Went to WJ for breakfast. Then at 10am was another chance to learn to standp up on flow rider for my blue wrist band. The first try I was able to get up did pretty well. But couldn’t do it twice in a row so didn’t get my wrist band . Then headed off ship to walk around and show those traveling with us the island since they haven’t been here. Just came back to ship and deciding if going to pool or casino.

Yeah very true. Luckily for me my wife doesn’t eat lobster so I had her order it plus whatever she wanted and I got her lobster
