@steverk thx. In hindsight I had not considered location from a convenience of getting around the ship perspective. I’ll give that some thought. @OCSC Mike thx for sharing. I agree that if we want to see the view we will be on deck. where I hesitate is motion sickness. Will I need the view to ground me..

I tried to do a snorkeling excursion in the Dominican and I was so motion sick i didn’t make it to the dive location and the guides dropped me on land…. And my daughter gets sick in the car without gravol. so we will be taking meds and looking to choose a cabin wisely

@steverk 4016 isn’t available for 2025 May 16th Northbound. Do I want to be looking at rooms on the left side of the ship then?? I would have guessed that right side is better. much appreciated. This is our first cruise… all suggestions welcome. i did consider last night that perhaps a balcony could be justified as “part of the Alaska experience “. Or possibly ocean view at the least. t

ready to book Alaska OV on Radiance for May 2025. BUT Why are the Pullmans listed in 2024 but NOT in 2025 for the same category? Is the ship being vitalized with couches?? Dratts sad…. I really wanted the pullmans… The kids would love the “bunk bed” experience. I am now searching online to figure out which rooms might have a Pullman so I can book now and get the OBC offer that expires …

This will probably be my one and only trip to Alaska. Unfortunately my husband worked in Alaska and he cringes at the idea of spending $ to go there because he's had his fill already!
