Amazes me you remember these cruise directors. We are on Harmony in January so we will see. Do you plan your cruises based on the cruise director

Use a taxi to get to the airport. RC transfers put all the bags in one large truck and then comes to the airport. We waited 30 minutes for the truck with the luggage to arrive and then we were not allowed to get our luggage until it was all taken out of the truck.

There is a La Quinta and a Best Western Suites near Hobby Airport. Those are the ones I have had the best/cleanest experience with

We had never heard of Invicta. It does work and has a nice magnified date area. We did not purchase the internet package on board. When we went on the cruise, we agree we would lock our phones in the safe. We wanted to disconnect from the world.

If you have the opportunity to do the Murder Mystery dinner, I highly suggest it. Allow at least 3+ hours for the dinner and show. Our dinner was at Giovanni's and the food and service was spot on. Only complaints were with other cruisers...women who kept touch the actors backsides when they got close enough to the table.

My husband purchased a watch during a sale that said the watches were up to "75%" off= " He purchased a watch that was marked $600+ for $149. The tag that was attached to the watch looked legit and the brand was legit (Invictus) He has now found the watch for cheaper. Be careful in getting wrapped up into the frenzy of the sales. Just a word of warning to new cruisers. We enjoyed the cruise and hated to come back. This little burp I won't let upset me . We even booked our next cruise for January 2019.

We just got back. RCC did have early disembark for those with early flights. If you are cutting it close, don't use the transfers. Use a taxi or Uber. At least at San Juan Airport, they would not allow anyone touch the luggage until all luggage had been unloaded. There was a truck with all the luggage that followed the bus to the airport.

I ended up calling RC and was able to purchase transfers Thanks for the information United changed our flight and now we don't get into the airport till 3pm for a 630 sailing. We figured if we took RC transfer we would make sure we were there.

Adventure of the Sea November 4-11 Leaving out of San Juan, PR

Should I be excited we scored a good deal? Husband just received a phone call from RC, offering us an upgrade from a Superior balcony room to an Owners Suite, for an additional $1200 for the 2 of us. This means we are getting a 7 day cruise, in an owners suite for a total of $3200. I am hesitant to get excited.

We will be sailing out of Puerto Rico on November 4. This is the 2nd cruise with RC. We usually sail out of Galveston where we park right next to the dock. How can we get to the pier. Does RC offer a transfer from the airport? Do they offer transport from pier back to airport when we return home. Thanks for the help.
