  1. We will get off at CocoCay but not Nassau. New Hideaway Beach will be open
  2. It’s basically Wonder with a few changes. I’m kind of at the point: you’ve seen one oasis class, you’ve seen them all with a few different venues. This will be our 9th oasis sailing.
  3. Well we’re booked. October ‘24. Price was lower (by $200) than our upcoming October Allure for OV balcony. For $1300 more, we sprung for sky class JS. We rationalized it as: back out a 3 night dining plan (minimum $300)plus drinks beyond our Diamond freebies (likely $400-$500) and it’s basically $500-$600 more to do the suite. It was barely showing me any OV balcony. 3 on decks 6 and 9 and they were connecting. About double that on deck 10.
  4. I was on Wonder’s 3rd sailing. Shows were not 100% up and running. Booked on Icon’s 13th sailing. Mostly due to time of year (April). Not a fan of winter cruising. I live in Florida so no need to escape the cold. Looking at an October date for Utopia because I don’t like sailing in the summer. Too hot! Sailed Monarch in her inaugural year way back in 1991. We love “new ship smell.”
  5. Royal holds the bar everyone is trying to get to: Norwegian Makes Major Change to Take On Royal Caribbean (msn.com)
  6. Go follow Mike’s Weather Page on Facebook. He’s pretty darn good.
  7. Any idea which JS’s will be sky class? I’m taking a guess they would be the ones on the true hump? Balconies look a little bigger?
  8. I picture a beluga whale. But I’m booked on her! FOMO!
  9. I’m circling October 7th for us. 2 hours to PC makes this very doable. May even spring for a sky class junior suite and get our next block on utopia, even though the new ones are ugly.
  10. Pretty decent prices I must say. We’re booked on one of Allure’s first sailings out of PC and paying $2452 for 4 night ocean balcony. I booked back in January
  11. I hope not! We’re on in late October and we haven’t seen it yet
  12. So what kind of questions did it ask?
  13. Had 3, now 2 but also have a Viking River booked so actually 3. Waiting for Europe or Alaska summer 2025 to be released in November to throw a deposit down. We aim for a cruise every 6 months. Sometimes we throw in a quick 4 nighter to bridge the gap between the bigger ones. Just to get our fix. We’re only 506 nights away from Pinnacle. We actually could make it by the time we’re 70. I didn’t think it was possible until I did the math this morning. 70 isn’t THAT old!
  14. I would guess Giovanni’s Wine Bar will be where Wonderland bar was.
  15. Unfortunately re-booking last minute usually means very high price as cabin inventory is low. Have you checked the Going Going Gone?
  16. Central Park, promenade and music hall. The pic is for the next sailing from the app
  17. Well someone has to pay for that new port in Nassau lol
  18. It’s for how many days/nights your cruise is. On a 7 night cruise, you get 7 nights/days. Day 8 is the day you disembark.
  19. Well we are up to 6 couples now (The Danube Dozen), I’m not too worried now about being entertained. I have a feeling we may be the entertainment. I did score an unbelievable Airbnb in Budapest. 7 bedrooms, 3 bath for $298 TOTAL for 2 nights pre-cruise. That comes to $50 a couple for both nights! It’s brand new and gorgeous and right in the middle of everything. Host has over 22k reviews so I’m comfortable knowing it’s not a bait and switch.
  20. So technically you get 7 days/nights of free drinks. Or whatever length your cruise is. If you board on Sunday, the following Saturday day/night is your 7th day/night. They do not re-set at 4 or 5am on day 8, disembarkment day.
  21. Jumbo Shrimp is an oxymoron but they’re a great minor league baseball team here in Jacksonville
