Is this a question or a statement?

In any case, yes, that's how the app works. You can also just manually enter the info of course.

Scanning a barcode is not the same thing as taking a picture. A question, because I started doubting myself.  Does a photo work?

Do I need just the passport information (number) or an actual photo of her passport?

  2. I have been looking for information regarding the main dining room steak. I seem to remember that steak used to be over cooked (or was it undercooked)? I generally order medium rare but I don’t want it very rare in the middle. Any experience will be very helpful. Thanks

Asking for clarity here.  We are on WOS in February.  this is in light of likely massive server crashes from all of us cruise nuts trying to throw more money at RCC.

The BLACK FRIDAY deals will remain the same through the weekend even though the name changes to CYBER MONDAY?  I    would like to avoid using cuss words if there is a deal and I     can't get to it.

Any pointers? Strategies for "winning" on BLACK FRIDAY deals?

Although there was an email today saying the sale was continuing, today’s prices for all of the shore excursions are higher than yesterday.

just trying to cancel my water package from previous orders because we took advantage of the current sale and it won't cancel 😅

still no moment on internet because the two-device price isn't actually cheaper, as another person already mentioned and the key is holding strong at $26.99 a day (was hoping for at least $22)

wondering if they won't allow voom to go down below $15.99 now because of starlink... ugh.

I have the same issue with the water package. Last night I was able to book the lower priced package but I have not been able to cancel my old package.

Its obvious that Royal's choice for coffee on all their ships is the "Lavazza" commercial coffee brand from Italy.  Lavazza make different blends and quality. Does anybody have any insight as to what grades are actually served and available onboard?  In my suite we get the Lavazza machine with 4 capsules of coffee...2 decaf ,2 regular. Then there is the coffee served in the promenade, the MDR, Windjammer and room service (for those with no machine)   . Then there is the specialty restaurants , and I have no idea what they serve.   If I order a specialty coffee in MDR , what am I really getting?  expresso beans?  It would be interesting to know what kind of contract Lavazza has with Royal and how long. Imagine how many cups of coffee are served on an Oasis class ship daily!, its mind boggling.    Does anybody feel its time to switch it up? And what would be your brand of choice?  Who's a coffee snob?

(of course there is Starbucks, that you must pay for.)

Can you ask for a different combo of the capsules in a suite? We will have three adults and none of us will want decaf. Thanks

  6. In April we ended up having two days in Nassau after our CocoCay stop was cancelled. On the first day we walked to Junkanoo Beach. We were on guard since we had heard about safety concerns. We walked to the beach and stopped in a couple of shops on the way back to the ship. The next day we had a walking brewery tour. I felt very safe on that tour and I highly recommend it.

Well that's the fastest correction to my supposedly sound logic that I've ever seen...

I have no idea how this logically (logistically?) works out, but there is indeed a 7-night Oasis sailing from NJ to Port Canaveral, Perfect Day, and Nassau. And they also have an 8-night that has those ports plus Miami. And for both, they are somehow getting the ship all the way from NJ to Port Canaveral in just one sea day! She's going to be running all six engines and going flat-out to pull that one off!

I've never seen a southbound itinerary from NJ that got to FL using less than 2 sea days before this. Color me flabbergasted!

Anthem did a 7 night that did that same route.

We have had similar experiences with our TA where we are more aware of price changes than our TA even though we do not check every day. Also I think we have been on more sailings and listened to more of Matt's podcasts than our TA so from a general knowledge perspective there are times when I feel we know more about RCCL than our TA. Matt is always promoting TAs but I feel he gets exceptional service in part due to the number of cruises he goes on and because he promotes them so much.

I don’t know if that is true. I contacted an MEI agent for my first cruise. I did not get the referral here but found her on a Disney TA list that noted she also could help with RCL. I never had to contact her about price decreases, they were always done automatically. As far as she was concerned I was just a new client, but I have booked with her again based on my first experience.

If possible, we'd prefer to actually call them as opposed to texting or video chatting.

I was on the Anthem last April. My husband does not travel with me, and I call him every day. I bought the voom package. I was able to call him every day. The WiFi was very spotty with my iPhone, and it dropped the call often, but I did call. I also FaceTimed him a couple of times.

Once , the WiFi was so annoying I used minutes at sea.

found the Escape room based on a comment made during the podcast from a listener email, but I never saw it listed in the Cruise Planner ahead of time or in the Cruise Compass during so I’m not sure if it filled up super early or if they just weren’t running it that cruise.

I signed up for it through the Royal IQ app in April while eating lunch on embarkation day.
