cruiselife
Hello Everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew if Royal Caribbean would provide refunds on prepaid drinks, dining packages, and excursions in the event that I was not able to go on my cruise. My wife and I have a non-refundable deposit, so I know if we were to somehow miss the cruise we would lose out on that, but what about drink and dining packages, etc that were prepaid prior to the cruise? The reason I am asking is I am trying to decide if I should include these costs on our travel insurance quotes. I would prefer to not include them and get a lower rate if Royal Caribbean would refund those costs. Thanks in advance!
twangster
You can cancel any cruise planner type purchases online or by calling up to around 3 days before your cruise. No penalty. Garnet21, cruiselife and Matt

No penalty. To that point, be sure to proactively cancel those pre-cruise purchases if you opt not to cruise.
