Off and On ship

If we dock in Falmouth at 7am and have a RC excursion booked (RED STRIPE BEACH) what time should we get in line to get off the ship?   We are early birds.   If we spend a few hours at the beach and want to come back for lunch on the ship, can we get back off the ship again  and do a hour or so shopping and maybe Jimmy Buffet's?   Ship leaves at 4pm and we are going on the Granduer. From the pics I have seen, it looks like the port there is easy off and on access.  Am I expecting to much and should just eat in the port that day?  I am a little nervous about Jamaica, I just want to enjoy.  I do not want to be looking over my shoulder all the time and worrying about the vendors etc.     Thanks!!!!!  L

If the ship docks at 7am, shouldn't be much of a line to get off the ship at that time so being ready to leave at 7am (or shortly thereafter when locals clear the ship) should be fine.  The lines will be there closer to 9am or so.

You can absolutely get off the ship and come back on and get back off.

Also Falmouth is an interesting port.  You dock in a cruise-line created area that has shops and restaurants (Margaritaville).  In this area, you can easily get back to the ship without any hassle.
