Is there a chance that I would get that Obstructed view room anyway? Doesn't seem likely but has this ever happened to anyone? and yes, I did read both descriptions. Ryan79 Posted March 1 Report Share Posted March 1 No. Your minimum cabin type would be Ocean View Balcony. Obstructed Ocean View Balcony is a lower type, so it would not be an option to assign you. In theory you could book the obstructed price and there is a small chance you could get an unobstructed ocean view balcony. With GTY, they can move you up in type but never down. We made 10 cruises. 5 booked without agency directly on the site in GTY. 1 only has been with an obstructed cabin... the next 2 cruises are already assigned too...
