158 days to go!! Looking forward to it. I managed to convince several members of my family to join us way back in October of 2022 before the prices got insane, so glad I did because it's almost cruel to ask anyone to pay what Royal is asking now! We pulled the trigger on the UDP during the Black Friday discount since it was the lowest I'd seen since they announced all of the new restaurants. Anyone else?

Oh man, where to start...everything! Haha. I'm looking forward to all of the different neighborhoods. Compared to an Oasis class ship they seem more developed and interesting. We have a 7-year-old and a 2-year-old, so I imagine we'll be spending a fair amount of time in the Surfside neighborhood - but they would love most of the other areas as well! What about you?

We’re coming in on Friday too. Staying by the airport at Element MIA because we got a free night there with our Marriott points. Our flight comes in the evening so it didn’t make much sense for us to stay downtown. We have a late flight on the 11th as well so we are planning on reserving a day pass somewhere so we don’t have to wait at the airport.

I too am on this sailing.  Brining my adult children.  Booked it on one of the first days so got a great price compared to what they are going for now.

Does anyone know when we will be able to book our entertainment?  I also read that they were considering allowing those of us who have dining packages the ability to do it pre-cruise then having to wait until on board.  Did anyone hear whether that will be the case for this sailing?

Traditionally booking entertainment starts first day of the month before cruise or there abouts. (That would be start of April) However, everyone has been reporting delays in system updates for Icon. I'm reading many say 2 and 3 weeks out is when entertainment became available to book. My advice is once our check in date March 19 comes, start checking multiple times per day for entertainment booking to finally open.

Guys...Once entertainment opens for booking, I will post here immediately. If I miss it for some reason, please do the same.

As far dinning reservations. I understand it's in the works, but no specific dates yet. Again, keep checking.

See ya all on board!

So I have Key.  WIll I be able to check in earlier than my assigned time?

I've never had The Key. (Don't think it's worth the price). I thought early boarding was one of the perks (could be wrong). I would call and ask about your board time currently vs the key. What time is the key lunch? Isn't early?

Hello all, very excited to be on this sailing as well!  I got lucky and saw this itinerary available on my Casino Royale Certificate/Next Cruise booking back on Allure in November 2023 when i hit 25,000 points on one sailing, so that also puts me in a Grand Suite/Sky Class.  The prices are eye-watering if you try to book that cabin out of pocket so i am very fortunate for that.

I waited until check-in opened up a little after midnight and saw 11:30am as the earliest boarding time as well.  We are taking the Bright-line train from Orlando, which is scheduled to arrive at 10:20am.  This will be my first sailing out of Miami, i have only done Port Canaveral so far.  Assuming it is similar with suite guests being able to check-in early and sit in the designated area.

Welcome to our little group!

Sorry I can't help you with your question. I travel steerage. LOL.

Just curious! We're on the next sailing (5/11)... has the Entertainment reservation section opened up in the CP for you yet?  🤔

I know they tend to open it up somewhere between 30-60 days... 59 days was the "magic" number for our last Wonder sailing.  😀

When it does, I will post here for our group. All reports are Icon being behind the rest.

I did.  However I am curious why Day 5 only has the 2 adult comedy shows available.  I wonder if they are waiting to add something else.  I am thrilled they added Effectors to the line up.  Love that show.

Now if they only I could reserve my UDP dining pre-cruise I would be set.

Did anyone get their travel documents/luggage tags yet?

My docs are not ready yet. Now that it's Wed we are at 31 Days, should be tomorrow.

Also, I was wondering same thing about day 5. Seems like show's become less and less as week goes on. A lot less on day 5, 6, and 7 compared to first half of week. As per past cruise compasses Crazy Quest has been running on day 5 at 11pm. First come first serve of course.

I'm wondering if they're saving space if they need to reschedule any shows because of technical difficulties, etc. Or maybe that's eventually going to be filled by the Pirates and Mermaids aqua show that hasn't been added yet.

While putting a dome over the water show was a great idea, reports are moving it to front of ship has brought more motion. This is causing more cancellations and rescheduling. That could account for some date saving.

Really? That's unfortunate to hear. I was wondering about the reports that people are feeling more movement than they are used to (e.g. Oasis class) - but I was hoping that had more to do with the weather lately than the design of the ship. I guess time will tell! And, of course, we'll get to make our determination as well soon!

Front of ship always has more movement. That's why those cabins tend to sell last. If the waves in pool are too intense, the aqua show gets cancelled and rescheduled. Probably moving from back was a bad idea. But the indoor concept looks really good. All the YouTube videos say book show for early in week to make time for possible rescheduling later in week. I booked night one. If it gets rescheduled, LOL....I have a rescheduling nightmare. Have something booked every night. Gonna be busy. LOL.

That makes sense. I mean, the whole concept of high diving into a small pool on a cruise ship is CRAZY!! I don't know how that got approval, but I'm glad it did because I'm really looking forward to it. On our Oasis cruise a few years back we never got to see the aqua show because the winds were too strong, so this would be our first!

And yes, I made sure to book as many of the entertainment as possible for early in the week. haha

What time for Aqua Action? We're 8:15pm...
