Cactus527 Posted October 15, 2023 Report Posted October 15, 2023 I figured I should start this thread and see who else might be on board. Looking forward to this trip! Quote
Cactus527 Posted January 9, 2024 Author Report Posted January 9, 2024 I've been finding this fascinating. Anyone want to guess when most Floridians are getting spring break? AshleyDillo 1 Quote
recogneyes Posted January 11, 2024 Report Posted January 11, 2024 That's one of the weeks for the College Party Cruise - they have a group booking for a large amount of rooms on one of the 4 night cruises and this year it is on Freedom. Cactus527 1 Quote

Anyone want to guess when most Floridians are getting spring break? January, February, March and parts of April find some of the best prices for Caribbean cruises, other than during hurricane season. The good thing about those four months is you might have an occasional storm, but weather is great otherwise. Cactus527 1 Quote

Ugh, I think I'm *definitely* going to cancel my Hideaway Beach reservation then...that could get scary! recogneyes 1 Quote
Cactus527 Posted January 14, 2024 Author Report Posted January 14, 2024 Oh, @recogneyes, I found it: https://collegepartycruise.com/. This will definitely skew the average age a little younger! WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote

For the most part it was ok; definitely skews the average age a little younger as you say. It's not a full charter which is why it's open for other bookings. Cactus527 1 Quote

I'm glad you said it wasn't too bad - I figure I'll just keep my usual early riser/early bed time schedule and I should avoid most of the crazy. Quote
Cactus527 Posted January 21, 2024 Author Report Posted January 21, 2024 The ship will be departing from Terminal A on March 11th. It appears it will also be returning to Terminal A on March 15th. Quote
Cactus527 Posted January 24, 2024 Author Report Posted January 24, 2024 Check in starts Friday, January 26th at 12am EST! Are you ready??!? WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
Cactus527 Posted January 26, 2024 Author Report Posted January 26, 2024 Earliest check-in time of 11:00-11:30am gone within the first 8 hours. I find it interesting that it's now 11:00 a.m. as opposed to the 10:30 a.m. I'm used to as the earliest time slot. What time slot did you get? Quote
Lukahn Posted February 8, 2024 Report Posted February 8, 2024 Got the 11-11:30am time slot. Seriously wondering about the college party though now.... looks like they can get down lol Cactus527 1 Quote
Cactus527 Posted February 10, 2024 Author Report Posted February 10, 2024 30 days until our cruise! Cruise documents are now available - just log into your RC account to view/print/download. Luggage tags are there too! WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
Cactus527 Posted February 21, 2024 Author Report Posted February 21, 2024 19 days to go! WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
Cactus527 Posted February 27, 2024 Author Report Posted February 27, 2024 Schedule is now up in the RC app! You can't add it to your calendar yet, but it gives you a good idea of when everything is happening (e.g. Flow Rider times, theme nights in the MDR, 80s night, art auction, etc.). WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
Cactus527 Posted March 3, 2024 Author Report Posted March 3, 2024 8 days to go! Remember that if you want to buy anything via the RC Cruise Planner, you have to have it completed by Friday. They won't let you do anything in there once you reach 48 hours to boarding - then you have to do it on board. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
Cactus527 Posted March 8, 2024 Author Report Posted March 8, 2024 3 days to boarding! RC sent out an email this morning that includes stateroom preferences. Check it out and do it TODAY if you have preferences like separated beds, sharps container, medical fridge, etc. Today is also the LAST DAY you can do anything in the Cruise Planner. If not today, you'll have to reserve on board. Finally, RC says there is construction around Port Miami, so give yourself extra time. See you on board! WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
