I’m planning a vacation for the upcoming cruise next week, so I’m trying to pay with a prepaid card ( Mastercard ) that I just loaded this morning to pay this trip, but it’s been rejected, do they not accept prepaid cards ? Matt Posted September 11, 2023 Report Share Posted September 11, 2023 Welcome to the message boards. In my experience with prepaid cards, it greatly depends on the merchant and the type of card. When I've gotten a $20 card for filling out a survey they aren't accepted at every site, so I'm not surprised to hear you have an issue. You can use a debit or credit card for sure. CrimsonCruiser Posted September 12, 2023 Report Share Posted September 12, 2023 This may not be applicable, but I had a card that a site wouldn't take because the site - even though it was the US site - ran cards through their home base in Shanghai or Singapore... Oops, RCCL would not accept it so I was stuck using it for something else. Something about they could not verify funds so never have tried since.
