Wonder of the Seas - Jun 2, 2024 - Jun 9, 2024 (7 Night Western Caribbean & Perfect Day)

Recommended Posts

Figured I'd start this early.

This is the 2nd of several cruises my wife and I have booked on Wonder (the 1st is in March). We live an hour from PC and enjoy the convenience even if it means visiting many of the same ports over and over. We sail more for the ship than the ports (and love CocoCay).

We were just on Wonder with extended family in June and had an amazing time as always. We were treated to a GS and the suite neighborhood and perks are amazing. Now that it's just us, we're back to sailing frugally and following our usual routine which is very different than when sailing with family in a suite.

My semi-live blog from that cruise can be found here if anyone is interested...

This will be our first cruise as D+, woohoo!

Roll calls aren't very active these days as most people seem to prefer FB but I find way too much noise and misinformation there. If anyone has any questions, Wonder-specific or otherwise, fire away!

  • OCSC Mike changed the title to Wonder of the Seas - Jun 2, 2024 - Jun 9, 2024 (7 Night Western Caribbean & Perfect Day)

Cheryl and I were supposed to be on Wonder next week - but when our TA called to tell us about Icon and the trip we were going on is the same itinerary as next week - we moved Wonder to this trip so Cheryl can visit the Sloths in Roatan.   lol

With what we have on the books - we're still shy of D+.  Guess I'll have to book more.

Welcome! My wife can't wait to see the sloths either. We were supposed to go to Roatan in 2019 but Harmony couldn't dock there due to high winds (no storm, not even rough seas, just random bad luck). Needless to say, we were pretty disappointed. This is the do-over.

We're sneaking in Allure later this month but can generally only sail during school breaks since my wife is a teacher. Looks like you'll get to D+ in no time!

Does Royal Caribbean do the gift exchange thing like Disney?  I haven’t been on a RC cruise in over 25 years so I consider myself a newbie with them.

I have seen people organize stuff like that on the FB group pages for recent cruises. I can’t tell you how common they are though. I’d check there.
