It's not inappropriate at all, my kids 5-16 watched it, just try to get through the first 10-15 minutes of the super weird beginning then the singing after that is very good. The first few minutes are based around Madonna’s Vogue song. if you Google Starwater YouTube you can see some videos of the show to give you an idea of content.
