Kdwilly
Can anyone tell me how to figure out the bed placement in each of the cabins on the ovation of the seas? I know there’s some formula and I’m not sure if it’s different on each ship. I’ve been told that if you look at connecting cabins the one on the left has the bed closest to the balcony, and the one on the right closest to the bathrooms. Not sure if this is correct. WAAAYTOOO
I don’t really know if the alternating configuration is the same on Q class ships as it is for the other classes, but if it is, the cabin on the “right” side of the double arrow (if you are standing in the hallway, looking at the cabin doors) has the bed by the balcony. Then they alternate down the line. Be sure you are placing yourself in the hallway otherwise, you will have it exactly backwards. Ryan79
On my last cruise on Harmony, the “right” side room was the one with the bed next to the balcony. We were on the port side of the ship, not sure if that matters or not. WAAAYTOOO
new2cruzing
On Ovation last year we were assigned cabin 9146 (Awesome GTY rate), which was the left side room of the 2 connecting and the bed was next to the balcony. Good thing was both us and the cabin next to us were quiet adults and not a peep was heard during the entire cruise. Hope this helps. SpeedNoodles
Check photos on cruisedeckplans.com. You can usually figure out where the bed will be based on photos of nearby cabins.
