Just dont put your luggage out the night before and walk your luggage through customs. There should be an announcement around 8am when it is okay to leave the ship. Matt Posted June 1, 2017 Report Share Posted June 1, 2017 They usually kick you out of your cabin much earlier than the last disembarkation times. Which port are you disembarking from? Generally speaking, if you are among the first or last to disembark, you can avoid the bulk of the lines. Then again, some ports mitigate the lines at Customs better than others. Guest toodle68 Posted June 1, 2017 Report Share Posted June 1, 2017 We just came through Port Canaveral and was one of the last of the self disembarking passengers (approx 8:30). We were off and out inside within 20 minutes. Fastest ever. There were no customs for some reason. If you have a rental, then why not just get off early and make use of the day? Go to NASA etc. I would not sit on the ship since they close everything at 8am and expect you out of your rooms soon after. There really is not much to do.
