Glass tiger
Does anyone ever took advantage on the COVID refund policy if you test positive within 10 days of the departure date? Do they ask for a PCR test, how does it work?
AshleyDillo
I did back at the height of COVID. You have to have a verified test, meaning lab results. It doesn't specify it has to be PCR or antigen. Mine was PCR.
Pooch
Is that still in effect?
Levi is good
I am not sure this is in effect for sailings past April 30th, if that matters.
Glass tiger
Let say sailing time is before April 30 @AshleyDillodid you get a full refund and how long did it take ? You had to call RC and provide proof by email ?
Ryan79
I had a COVID refund. Took about 8 weeks to get and no proof was requested even though I canceled 48 hours prior to sailing. But this was for a cruise booked in 2020 and sailed in 2021. Pretty sure this policy stopped a while ago for bookings made after 4/30/22. Sail date I believe was irrelevant Glass tiger

Port fees and taxes get refunded separately when you don't show up. You can go into your cruise planner and cancel any purchases in there and those get refunded immediately. Sometimes the cruisefare won't be able to be refunded until after the cruise happens, so there could be a little delay. I'm not sure how long it took for the refund honestly since it was my mom's card that paid for everything but it was me that had the positive test.
