CocoCay, St. Thomas, and St. Marten

We walked to a very nice beach in St Maarten.  It is not the white sand pristine beach of those further away.  But it was a great day nonetheless.  10 minute walk with sidewalks all the way.  Exit the port area & hang a left.  Party of four, 4 loungers, 2 umbrellas, 10 non alcoholic drinks and a delicious lunch delivered to us, with tips $140 and the opportunity to get some walking in!  Shops a block away if anyone wants to browse.

Where is the oasis snack shack located on CocoCay?

The Oasis Lagoon/Chill Beach snack shack is located between the Oasis Lagoon pool and Chill Beach.  Easiest way to find it from the ship is walk to the Oasis Lagoon pool and walk over the bridge over the pool that takes you on the dry side of the swim-up bar. Keep walking straight past that and you will come out right by the Snack Shack.  There is also a Snack Shack on South Beach and in the water park.

Are there any beaches from the ports on Thomas and Marten that dont require a taxi or ferry to access?

St. Thomas does not have any walkable beaches.

The one in St. Maarten is about a 10 minute walk as @Pooch described. It may be easier with herding a lot of kids to take the water taxi over. You can buy round-trip all-day wristbands for about $7 each. The water taxi pier is smack in the middle of the beach area and once you get there you can decide if you want to go left or right to pick a beach spot.

Great Bay Beach is what Pooch is referring to. You can walk or take the ferry. We always take the ferry.

St Thomas: No beach within walking distance. Lindbergh Bay is the closest at about 5 minute taxi ride

Thank you, maybe st Thomas will be the day we stay on board and take advantage of no crowds at the pool

St. Thomas is definitely one to have a plan for since nothing is really walkable from the port, so good time to explore the ship if nothing else there piques your interest!
