AhaOhio
We are sailing on Allure from Galveston on the 19th of February. We would - if possible - prefer a "sit down" venue for lunch on boarding day. Thinking of either Giovannis or Sabor. Does anyone have experience of simply walking up to any of those venues or is it necessary to book? If reservation is required I hope that this can be done by using the app in the terminal before boarding
KristiZ
I don't think you will have any trouble getting in to one of the open specialty restaurants upon embarkation. Just head there promptly and either go right in or make a reservation. Most people are either boarding later than noon or else busy checking out the ship and not thinking about lunch. Pattycruise
Booking is usually cheaper in cruise planner as opposed to the app. It will aslo give you an idea if the restaurant is even open on boarding day. AhaOhio
Booking for first day is not available in the cruise planner. Sea days only it seems. jbrinkm
