Kdwilly
It’s a bit overwhelming, to say the least, to find a hotel in downtown Miami because there’s so many!! Does anyone have any suggestions for something close to Bayside marketplace that won’t break the bank Also any excursions or boat tours you might recommend? Thank you in advance! michaelp1446
Holiday Inn directly across the street from Bayside. Island Queen boat tours out of Bayside . Kdwilly and PPPJJ-GCVAB 1
PPPJJ-GCVAB
We stayed at the Holiday Inn suggested by @michaelp1446 in Nov 2021 before our Oasis cruise. It is very budget friendly and so close to Bayside as well as a few other places. I can’t rave about the accommodations (we were in the older part of the building) but it is doable if not staying for more than a night or two. There are a few hotels in the Brickell section of town that are a bit nicer and still only a 15-20 minute walk away from Bayside but more money too. Keeping costs low…Holiday Inn will suffice. michaelp1446

recogneyes
Comfort Suites Brickell is in a nice location for walking to Bayside. Rooms are spacious (they do offer suites and not much difference in cost). Rate includes wifi and breakfast. We also did the Island Queen Millionaire's Row boat tour and it was great. Midwest Cruiser
We have had good luck staying at Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. Really nice view of Port Miami, only a 15-20 min walk to Bayside. $5-10 uber to Port Miami.

Fits the bill the OP was asking about but more expensive. Midwest Cruiser
Xtentions
We have done the Courtyard Downtown Brickell twice and it was decent. They have a shuttle to the port for $10 each leaving the hotel hourly but you need to book it at check in. Walking distance to Bayfront park if you are into that. The ferris-wheel overlooking the bay was fun. We used my Marriott points to book both times so was great value for us.

We always book the Reserve now pay later. Can usually book early, reprice within 1-3 weeks before cruise for less.
