icf75
Can someone explain this please? I have booked 4 people in an ocean balcony room (3d) on symphony with the third and 4th guest going free. However if I were to book 2 adults and select an ocean balcony room (4d)the adult price is £200 pp less than what I have paid ( it’s even less if I don’t select the room) I appreciate it’s a different room grade but it is the same size. It makes a bit of a mockery of an offer if RC merely bump up the other fare? is this normal?
Ampurp85
Yes, this is normal. The cost of a room that can hold four will be more than one that can hold two. As always, the cost of the first two pax in any room will be more regardless of if it is two or eight.
PPPJJ-GCVAB
Another consideration is the port taxes…even those that sail free must pay the taxes. But yes, as @Ampurp85 noted a balcony room that holds 4 people is more costly than one that holds 2.
ZBrady
Yes, it is normal - To truly compare apples to apples you need to book a room for 4 people to see the true price of 4 people in one cabin. The specific room category dictates the price.
