Price adjustments if cruise fare drops?

Recommended Posts

In the past, I was always able to price adjust until final payment.

Today, I tried to book an additional cabin. I previously booked 3 cabins for Oasis of the Seas June 30th. I need an additional cabin for more guest that we are traveling with. Not only has the price for a cabin doubled...but in the process of walking through the new booking, It says that I will have 48 hours to adjust the price for onboard credit only. I never heard of this. It used to be "you can keep adjusting until final payment, and anything after that is Onboard credit."

Is this the new policy? I'm guessing the price will at sometime drop in the next month.

There was a policy change, I believe back to an old policy (pre-Covid).   Even if it is given back as Onboard credit you can cash that out unused OBC unless it is reflected as non-refundalbe.

You are getting close to June 30th, a prime time for sailing.  I do not imagine the pricing will drop at all, as you stated, the cost of the cabin has nearly doubled.  It is supply and demand.  The cost goes up as there is less inventory.
