cordlea
Can anyone give experiences on the Fury Catamaran snorkel and beach break or the Deluxe beach break and Playa Mia water park. MylesDots
mhines
I have done the fury catamaran, Playa Mia, Mr. Sanchos and Paradise Beach. The fury catamaran was just OK. They took us to a spot where they fed the fish so that they would come around you. It wasn't a spectacular reef where they took us. Playa Mia was very big and had lots for kids to do if you have them. The one we liked best was Paradise beach. are you travelling with kids? cordlea
We are not traveling with kids. We had booked Playa Mia but cancelled it. We may look into the Mayan Ruins or just use the port as a shopping/beach/restaurant day.
KLA
I'd also recommend taking a look at Nachi Cocom. Only about 100 people allowed in per day and $55 all inclusive. I highly recommend it ... we went in November for the first time and plan to go back in October while on our honeymoon cruise. Guest toodle68
We went to Nachi Cocom this month. They have increased the number to 130, but it was not busy. We had an amazing 'all inclusive' time.. Considering the cocktails on the ship are min $12, we went through the $55 easily in food and drink. We also had the best massage ever (extra). One thing we learned about Cozumel though is that the line for taxi's was very long and slow. You would think with all the taxi's they would blast through any line, but it seemed to take over a minute per group to discuss, load and move away. pabrumm3
In the past we've done the Fury catamaran and Mayan ruins with kids. Fury was a fun adventure, but not the best snorkeling. The ruins were very very very hot........= cranky kids. Last year (kids are now over 21!) we tried the Jose Cuervo tour and had a blast. A bit of Mexican history coupled with free margaritas, tequila tasting, traditional delicious lunch, and cultural rain dancing demonstration. whitsmom
I booked our Playa Mia last night on sale! We have the grand kids so I'm sure they will love it.
