Apdd
Hi everyone, My family and I are cruising on the Grandeur of the Seas for 9 nights later this month. We're leaving out of Baltimore and headed to Bermuda, Nassau and Cococay. Any suggestions on the following would be greatly appreciated: - Hotel recommendations near Port in Baltimore - Bermuda beach recommendations - Things to Do or Things not to Do on the islands - Excursion recommendations. Our kids are older ages 22 and 19 - Any advice relating to the Grandeur of the Seas Thank's a lot
Matt
By far, the best thing to do in Bermuda is go to Horseshoe Beach. Also, visiting the city of Hamilton is quite lovely. Here are some helpful tips for taking a cruise out of Baltimore: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/02/01/taking-royal-caribbean-cruise-baltimore-what-you-need-know Apdd
bcarney
I stayed here http://www.hendersonswharf.com when I sailed out of Baltimore in 2011. Nice hotel, quiet, along the waterfront yet within walking distance to a really cool area called Fell's Point that had restaurants and bars. Free parking while you are there, but you can't leave the car there when you are on the cruise, if you are planning on driving. It's across the bay from where RC docks, about a 10 minute drive when going under the bay in the tunnel.
coneyraven
There's also a Best Western in Elkridge (just south of the city)... It offers a port shuttle in which you can leave your car at the hotel at no charge.... The hotel itself is about 15 - 20 minutes away from the port straight up I-95. Which direction will you be coming from? Mark
Apdd
Thanks for the replies. I've contacted Best Western in Elkridge and they do have a park and cruise package. We're getting excited about our upcoming cruise! coneyraven
