tonyfsu21
Anyone have any experience with using RC Babysitting service at night? Have 4yr and 1yr olds and thinking about putting them to bed and having sitter stay while my wife and I are out for a few hours in the evenings. Specifically we booked a crown loft suite on Harmony and plan on putting 4yr old on pull out downstairs and 1yr old in pack & play. Will the sitter just stay upstairs in the loft while the kids sleep? I purposely booked the loft so that the kids could sleep downstairs hoping a sitter could watch from upstairs. Anyone ever done this?
Matt
I used the in-room babysitting when I was on Jewel of the Seas. The way it works is you go to guest services and inquire about reserving time. Essentially, they ask crew members who are off duty if any are interested in babysitting (there is a subset that are qualified to do so) and if there is availability, they can do what you are asking. tonyfsu21
Ok thanks Matt. Were you able to choose male or female sitter?
Christie
I'll cruise with you and watch the kids whenever you want.

Matt
Ok thanks Matt. Were you able to choose male or female sitter? No, they just assigned someone. They were wonderful, but we only chose that option because at the time the ship did not have a nursery.
Christie
My bet is in a suite, you can request a specific gender. You may be better off going through the concierge than going to guest services.
