Eliza 0 Report post Posted October 19 Thinking about doing a spa passes for my cousin and I on an upcoming Allure of the Seas 7 day cruise. Does anyone know exactly what amenities are available in the female and co-ed areas on Allure? I did a pass many moons ago on one of the RCCL ships (I *think* Rhapsody, but many cruises are blending together) and enjoyed the amenities - particularly the moist heat room, Thalassotherapy pool, and heated ceramic loungers. I know the spa offerings are different on every ship, so wondering if anyone has insight into what exactly the Allure of the Seas spa has (google has not been helpful thus far). Ta! WAAAYTOOO 6,592 Report post Posted October 19 As I recall, the thermal spa areas include steam room, hot/dry room and thermal beds. There may be a couples' massage area. We never did that and so I am not certain. Of course, there are men's and women's changing/shower areas that are separate but all of the thermal spa areas are co-ed. twangster 17,841 Report post Posted October 19 I’ve not seen a Thalassotherapy pool in any Royal spa, at least one included with a spa pass. I very much enjoyed them on Carnival though.
Eliza 0 Report post Posted October 22 Now you've gotten me thinking. There is a small chance that I had the spa pass on Carnival and/or NCL and was misremembering it as on Royal. I think I'm going to pass on the spa for now, and keep that money for shore excursion and booze when the casino is closed.
twangster 17,841 Report post Posted October 22 You can visit the spa on boarding day which will be open for tours. The price on board tends to be the same as in advance. If you like what you see buy the pass on board.

I understand it would be difficult to incorporate into existing ships but the new ones don't offer it either.
