Michael Arends
Hi A little family from Denmark are wondering about cancelling a drinkpackage. A lot have been written about this stuff but still I`m not sure how to do it the right way. I have ordered a refreshment package for 3 people and i can see the items in the cart and have not done more than that. I follow the price when it goes up and down and every time the price is updated, the price of the items in my cart are updated too. It looks like that I`m not able to lock the price. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance :-)
monctonguy
the price is NEVER locked in..till you buy it...no matter if it is sitting in your cart. Once you buy it...you would need to call Royal to cancel it and then you could re-book it at a lower price

SpeedNoodles
If you actually bought it through the Cruise Planner (paid and all), you can cancel it on the Cruise Planner. No need to call Royal. If you didn't actually purchase it yet, then yeah, it's a moot point.

AshleyDillo
The only way to lock in a price is to make the purchase and let Royal Caribbean hold onto your money. If you see a lower price you can cancel and repurchase immediately through the Cruise Planner. Keep in mind that the new purchase may post before the refund does when you look at your credit card or bank account.
