Typically re-positioning cruises happen in the spring and fall when ships re-position from the Caribbean to Europe (and back) or from one location to another. There are several available on Royal Caribbean's website. When using the search tool look for re-positioning or transatlantic sailings. Panama canal cruises are often good candidates but there's also transatlantic cruises and there's usually one every April that is a 3-night between Miami and Panama for like $99 per person. If your husband likes sea days, a transatlantic cruise is the way to go for sure. This May, Honolulu to Vancouver, 13 nights. Overnighter in Honolulu, 5 of 6 days on 4 Islands, 5 night Pacific crossing to Victoria & then on to Vancouver. Great itinerary on Raphsody of the Seas.
