I love sailing down the Mississippi and watching all the barges and other shipping. It's quite a river of commerce. twangster Posted July 10, 2019 Report Share Posted July 10, 2019 Good question. On Vision in January out of NOLA a lot of locals were happy to have a ship back but I'm not sure how strong sales were. A number of guests had driven down from neighboring states as well. While the transit down the Mississippi is enjoyable, it does consume a fair amount of time. That plays a role in the destinations it can reach. I may have to pickup another cruise if I can fit it into winter/spring calendar.
