Cruise Crazy
Is there an additional cost for Seaview Cafe on Serenade of the Seas? What do they serve there?
Matt
There is no additional charge to dine at Seaview Cafe and it's mostly sandwiches, burgers and soups. What makes Seaview cafe so very good is it's all freshly made. The only Seaview cafe remaining (for now) is on Jewel of the Seas. I have photos and a full review of Seaview Cafe here: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2013/10/14/restaurant-review-seaview-cafe
DocLC
I should point out that there have been reports of a Burger and Brew event at Seaview on some nights where there is a fee attached. I believe it's still included in the cruise fare before and after these events, though.
jticarruthers
Cant speak to Serenade but Jewel had the free food for a few hours a day and then switched to the pay for Burgers & Brew (with a couple of free items still) during the evenings. IIRC Seaview Cafe was only open from 2 or 2:30pm to 5 or 5:30pm, at least that was the case back in April. We skipped lunch one day just to be able to east the Cuban sandwiches there. jticarruthers
Those times sound about right, I know it was closed a couple of time I went looking for a snack, made a point of eating lunch there on the last/only sea day.
