CruisinTexan
We are going on a "holiday" cruise Dec 21-28. I cannot find any literary or ideas of what is available to make this special so they can bill it as a "holiday cruise". Has anyone been on one of these are know where I should look for my than the sailing itinerary (that is common knowledge). Would like to know what to expect and plan on. Thanks ;)
Matt
Actually I feel they call it a holiday cruise because it happens to go over a big holiday. There will certainly be some onboard celebrations, specifically Christmas decorations and maybe some other Christmas related events. Which ship did you book? Casino pay double payout at midnight? Wheel fortune slot land on 1000 at midnight? Hehe There will be a countdown clock in the Royal Promenade with a huge balloon drop at midnight. The photo below is from Explorer of the Seas New Years Eve in 2010. There will be lots of free champagne, dance party in the club, etc. A fun night to be on a ship!
