Jason
We’ll be boarding the Freedom of the Seas in June 2019 and plan on staying 1-2 days prior to the cruise and 1 day after in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Does this give us enough time to do the El Yunque Rain Forest tour, bioluminescence tour, Old San Juan tour, and Bacardi tour or should we stay longer than 2-3 days? Which companies are recommended for any of the bioluminescence bays using an electric boat rather than a kayak? What other excursions, sights, and restaurants are a must in Puerto-Rico? Thanks in advance!

WAAAYTOOO
Before you make big plans for seeing El Yunque, I recommend making sure it is open for business again. Apparently it took quite a hit from the recent hurricanes and was closed to the public for some time. Hopefully it will be reopen by the time you visit. We did a similar visit a number of years ago...couple of days before and after...and the rain forest is wonderful. We really enjoyed going. Jason
Thank you and I’ll definitely look to see if it’s open before I book an excursion there. WAAAYTOOO
