  1. I will be on Enchantment of the Seas sailing out Nov. 29, 2019.There will be 5 total in our party. We have the unlimited dining package, but looking at the Main Dining Room, it seems there are way more choices on their menu. I also see they have premium selections. If we were to eat at the Main Dinning Room, will my unlimited dinning package allow us to select from the premium choices, or will we still have to pay the listed price, or a discounted price? If discounted what would that charge be? I am debating on if we need to keep the package. I know in the MDR you are allowed to try mul
  2. We are sailing on Enchantment on August 28th. What I like least About cruising is very early afternoon on embarkation day when everyone is jammed into the Windjammeir. to circumvent this I went ahead and pre-purchased lunch at Chops. We have an active 18 month old who will be on his third cruise (Alaska, Bahamas & now Mexico) and eats like gangbusters. Question!!! What are his option for what RC consider No Charge for under age 3. THX
  3. Just returned from 7 day Liberty from Galveston and wanted to comment on the food. My family of 4 (Wife, 16 year old boy and girl) did the 5 day dining plan and went to Chops 3 nights and Giovanni's 2 nights. MDR 2 nights Awesome: Chops - our waiter Jiri was just outstanding. We went to Chops the 1st night of the cruise and his service was impeccable. We requested him on our 2 other visits and he was a shining star! The food was excellent! from the salads right to the deserts. on the last formal night (lobster night) they made sure to let us know ahead of time that they would h
  4. Just noticed that the Chops menu has been tweaked as of July 23 on Adventure of the Seas. Two additional priced seafood towers have been added as well as rack of lamb. Must have just happened as it is different than the menu posted on Harmony on July 1. Too bad they didn't tweak it with new included items, although the rack of lamb is a nice addition. Not a fan of lamb, I think. May have to give it a try in Oct though.
  5. My husband and I are going on our very first cruise ever to celebrate our 5 yr anniversary in September. We'll be on the 3 night itinerary on Enchantment of the Seas. Day 1/Night 1 is our actual anniversary - is it a good idea to dine (and splurge a bit) at Chops or should we dine in MDR?
  6. Greetings! We are going on Freedom in March 2017. Trying to make dining reservations using the cruise planner, and when making the reservation for Chops Grille it is charging me $35 per person, even for the two kids aged 8 and 4. It is showing $210 for the 6 of us rather than what I think should be $150.... What gives? Does it charge immediately or is it just a hold? Thanks!
  7. Just thought I would let anyone know who is interested or has Empress of the Seas booked, that Chops has been released on cruise planner as available to book finally! Still no beverage packages, and shore excursions are still all screwed up, but hey it's a start haha! :P Cant wait for that bacon appetizer... Yummmmmm
