  1. It was just a general question. We aren't really light sleepers and don't really plan on turning in early, but would not like to have to listen to all the music and such if we don't want to.
  2. "Passion of the Seas, RCCL newest ship. If this ship is rockin', don't bother knockin'!" ;)
  3. I don't want to miss out on something one night in the WJ, but also have to make reservations for our three specialty restaurants ahead of time, so that makes it hard. The Cruise Compass is printed nightly for the next day, correct?
  4. I think it would be just as easy to plate half a portion, but if that's the way they do it. I agree about wasting food. I would like to try multiple items, but don't like the idea of only taking a bite or too, if I don't like it.
  5. I can see the ads for the new ship already. "Join RCCL on it's newest ship, Passion of the Seas. Where we put more motion in the ocean!" ;)
  6. What were the reasons for stopping, do you think? Cost, waste, not enough people using it?
  7. Do you just have to show up and see what they are doing each night?
  8. How loud does the Centrum get after hours, as I see some of the music goes until like midnight? Our cabin is only four cabins from the Centrum, on deck 4, starboard side.
  9. Do they publish ahead of time, say at the start of the cruise, what they are offering as specialties in the Windjammer each night? Is that posted in the Cruise Compass? I can't miss the opportunity to have Indian, if they are offering it one night.
  10. Can you order appetizer portions of entrees in the MDR? I know this isn't possible with certain items like steak and such. Just wondering as it would be a great way to gat a taste of multiple items without all the waste. Sort of like create your own tapas.
  11. Too much motion and too much information! ;)
  12. That sounds fantastic! I love curry! I hope they have that On Serenade in Oct when we're on her!
  13. I just found this old post. Wow, bcarney! That sounds like a heart attack on a plate. Not judging, just commenting!
  14. Is there any type of in-cabin music available, like through your tv?
  15. Disney prices across the board are high. I believe they just raised their single day admission again to over $100 plus a day. Great product but very pricey.
  16. The worst are the shorts wearing people in the MDR, during dinner using selfie sticks!
  17. Building on that thought, how about a "pop-up" style restaurant that changes wherever that ship is home ported at. It would change every time the ship relocated. Maybe a little too complicated, but would be cool.
  18. Maybe it's first come, first served. The elevator just goes to where it was called from first, regardless of what's in between.
  19. Well they sound great, but I don't think I will be using them anytime soon. Unless I win the lotto of course.
  20. As long as RC doesn't become the Oldsmobile or Pontiac. Or Yugo or AMC. :D
  21. Maybe it's also the economic environment they are protecting? Albeit perhaps small, if you bring food or drink off the ship, you won't need to by it in port. Just like you can't bring food into the ballpark or stadium of your choosing? Just a thought.
  22. How about a good and I mean good deli. Corned beef and pastrami, bagels and lox? I worked in a deli years ago and we baked fresh bagels everyday, from frozen dough, and they were great. It's not that hard. This might be an easy concept that could be used for late hours. Who doesn't love a good Rueben at 1am?
