Royal needs a PLAN “B” desperately. Why are they waiting for the US government. Start in a foreign port for example Nassau. Ships already dock occasionally in US Port for what reason . I don’t know but restart stocking ships with US supplies move ship to locations that will allow embarkation.

Do you think Royal will make the announcement cruises suspended until 1/31/2021 before or after Thanksgiving? I believe I have tried to stay positive with when cruises will resume but obviously what they are doing within the company doesn’t mean anything to the US government. They need PLAN “B”

Happy Monday to Everyone! Im telling yah, Royal would have a better chance of starting operations out of a foreign port first then a US one. I guess they don’t have to worry about money when the CDC reinstates the “No Sail Order “ until March or April. Will our government allow them to stock the ships with provisions? Great way to stimulate our country, then sail to a foreign country to pick up passengers?

Just a little observation for this afternoon. Looking at all of the Port Web cam's and the Edge is in FLL. The camera has a shot of her Port Side. She really is a good looking vessel from this side. Very clean and sleek. I just think the "Magic Carpet" on the starboard side makes her look odd. Oops, should this been posted under Celebrity? I really want them to experience the Crown Loft, we are considering getting them just an interior on deck 14 just to sleep, then they can come up and hang with us. At least we have a place we can tell them to go ! lol

We were on the Harmony for our 20th so It may be fitting to be on her for our 25th. Funny part about this cruise, we are parents that are very active with our children even on vacation, spending time together as much as possible. They are horrified that we are considering not bringing them. Even though they are gonna be 21 and 17, we will never complain they still want to spend time with us! Hope that never ENDS!

Found some info on Allure! Doing some 6 and 8 nights from Port Everglades until 4/16/2022. I can't see Port Everglades not having a Oasis class. Maybe the Odyssey will be replacing her, although she only shows there until 4/17/2022!

Good Morning, Not sure if anyone asked this yet, I can't figure out what is going on with the Allure? Don't see it anywhere! Question for my blog friends, Crown Loft Suite Harmony or Symphony? 800 dollar difference. The only thing I can think of since the Symphony is newer, the shape of the suites may be in better condition?

I think you are underestimating the Cruise Crazy People(this is no way of insulting those of us who love cruising), just look at the amount of people who have joined "Volunteers of the Seas", on Facebook, it's crazy. Cruise lines are gonna have a hard time getting occasional or newbie cruisers back on cruise ships once they open up! As for government agencies, I think at this point in time they have mastered doing things online or in person. Had to update some things on our drivers licence and it took less then a week for the new one to arrive. I know it's not a passport but hey, maybe they have improved the time it takes to get one. Just a question for those who may know more the logistic part of this question. MSC has one of their new big ships(Seaview) that begin and end in Fort De France Marinique. Granted, this is for 2021. How is this possible?

Did Royal ever finalize the Resort deal in Freeport? If so, use that resort for a pre cruise quarantine for maybe one or two nights, have the ships dock in Nassau for provisions then move to Freeport to pick passengers up! I know I am living in fantasy world, but I helps me feel better.

If they push the no sail order to mid 2021 and if the cruise lines made a wise choice to start cruises outside of the US, I guarantee you that the die hard cruise community will do whatever they need to do so they can cruise again!! Don't underestimate the Cruise Crazy People!!! LOL

If the cruise lines took the last 6 months ( I am being generous) developing protocol, which I believe they even started the sail health committee, a foreign country like the Bahamas could be SAFE and generate huge amounts of money making it a embarkation port!! I always wanted to stay positive with when cruises would resume, but our knuckleheads in DC are bound and determine to stop cruising until who the god knows! LOL

The one big thing why I never just used a birth certificate is from understanding, god for bid I get sick on a cruise and wanted to fly home, this is not possible with a birth certificate. I'm I correct on this statement Gang?

1. I'm reaching out to this board on this one! I believe the majority have passports. Maybe 85% Need it to fly back into the US and people want that option! 2.What quarantine for two weeks when we get back to the United States like they do now! Please they can't keep track of that now!

I am telling ya, these cruise lines have to figure out a temporary place other then the US, to start and end cruises quickly!!! The individuals in government that wants to keep everything shut down is not going to stop!!! If it doesn't take down one of the larger cruise lines, I will be shocked!
