I got key for Nov cruise with a tender port for $22.99 only a little more tha voom. That's easy for me as I get interior rooms and it makes life a lite easier.on day one and tender!

Cruising in February with friends at got a Jr suite. This is there second cruise and the first was in owners suite on voyager. This This cruise is on harmony. I am a solo traveler and usually book an interior room. I don't spend much time there. My last cruise, I got key for just 5 dollars over voom price and for that cruise was worth it. They asked me about adding key. They already key priority boarding. I don't see where they get internet and they want that, they also need to get key for both yes? If i get it we board together, and can have lunch together and leave together if they get it. Thoughts? These are people thst retired well but don't like waiting money! Primary question... for junior suite, is key a yes or no when you need internet!

We live in New world. I'm subject, with a few others, of a national social media smear, no basis in truth and lawyers say just let it go. I grew up with 3 news outlets, then 4, 5 and then IMHO it all went south. Good news is most of it is niche oriented and never blows up like this! Next big thing and they are not even a memory. It is just sad!

I have seen a few places where people are defending taking non cruise line tours.. they claim cruise trips too expensive snd not as good. I am fine with that. You be you! I live a fast pace high presure life. I prepay drinks so thst I don't have to stress over it. I get the key because it includes internet snd my bag is always in my room! I get an interior cheap room cause if I'm there I'm sleeping. I take ships tours cause at that point I don't have to worry about time. My brother has another few companies he loves for excursions. He does that and if we go together we take ships trips. I have never felt gyped on a royal excursion, princess another story. If I were ncl, I would refund rest of them money, fly them home and ban them from future cruises. They have lied and misrepresented the facts for their own 15 minutes of fame. I was on a carnival ship (free cruise) and they kept paging this couple and people started chanting LEAVE THEM. People met them at gangway and heckled them. In today's world that would have made them social media darlings. In reality, I bet if they cruised again they were never late. I always wonder first day when people don't get their muster done immediate if they are part of a game on who can get name announced the most. I heard a couple on last cruise say, we needed a nap, we paid just like all you did, we will do it our way. It made me sad. Our world has devolved and the impact our actions have on others, just doesn't matter. That said, if you sign up for a trip with 2 to 6 thousand people, you should be willing to play buy the rules you paid to participate in! Enough preaching! Sorry got carried away!

Not going to argue good old days, but recent changes that I see, seem positive. The two changes I am aware of, the pinnacle "friends and families" and also the shared status with sister companies all seem positive. Where are people saying how much has been taken away this year. Am I missing something? If you liked the 90's or 80's even, buy a DeLorean! We can't go back and it is what it is! Thoughts?

I got a little carried away! I have 4 cruises scheduled between now and June 2025. I have never been so adventurous. First one is a.small 3 nigjt Celestyal Geek island that is part of longer trip. The other 3 are RCI. My November jewel is set, just checking prices. My February Harmony and June radiance just had pricing show up. The DBP and Key are more than $20 more than anything I've paid. I usually don't wory about key unless it is close to Voom price. But in February friends joining me are in a suite and it would help keep us together. My questions: 1. Does the key ever sell out on oasis class ships? I know I can book and cancel, just don't want to give any hint to their pricing wizard that current price is ok. 2. Is it feasible to wait for black Friday for a February 2nd cruise? 3. Port if galveston... does north parking ever sell out? There current $10 off sale isn't exciting Mr! 4. There was a spread sheet on here a while back on dbp where you could enter what you usually drink and what your loyalty package includes. I can't find it. Anyone have any ideas? 5. Is there an easy way to switch between cruises or open them in separate browsers? Thanks in advance. Sorry if answers are somewhere else. I just can't find them. And I realize these are extremely first world problems!

I got 11 night interior reserved rm for under 800, but with RCI math you have to learn to book all the way through till they want your credit card and then figure out what it really was. Their fees are very inconsistent!

53 is lowest ive heard and that was this cruise! I would love to save that extra!

I have repriced 2x also! Got inside assigned cabin for $845. I got the key for $4 more then vroom and with tender port am happy with that. Got UBP for 66.99 and have been told some have it for under 55, so still checking that. 3 new ports for me... any suggestions? Also Facebook group has lots more going on... these have been dead recently...

I was on allure last june... but only booked this a few weeks ago.

I only have my fair doubled or 100% more. It does feel like 200 sometimes, but it only doubles. I didn't realize that after a year on their ships that changes...not sure at this point that I will get there....wait, that is only a half a year for a single!

To make a lond story short and I've posted for advice a few times... I had a 2011 cruise missing. I went to loyalty desks snd called and nothing. I finally wrote and followed up with email and after I sent a group picture taken on cruise, they found me! Got the points and waiting for status to update! Thanks Mika! Even got OBC foe next cruise!

My last few cruises have been on Oasis class ships and have had plenty of free food choices. I have not done a cruise this long on a ship this size in almost 20 years and that was a Mediterranean cruise decades ago! I have not found the food as good as in the past on post COVID cruises. I got the Key for just $4 more than the internet alone, so that was a no brainer. The unlimited dining comes to $31 a day or about 350 total. I love sushi and could maybe cover that cost on sushi alone, but that is one of the cheaper options anyway? Advice

After many videos saying the benefits of a travel agent, I was hoping there was one connected here. When I didn't see one, I watched a great deal of videos and found and selected 2 that the reviews of ships and services sorta meshed with my experience. I am shocked that tripsy travel, after asking for business in EVERY video, said they were full, when I asked why they are asking for business the reaponse was, we don't specialize in what you are looking for. I Sent them that I am very interested in jewel ots leaving Galveston on Nov 18th for 11 nights and am not in room much so an interior cabin is just fine. I would have figured that was easy! I also mentioned that I want to put a group alaska cruise together, but for now, just working on this trip. I used an agent for years in Virginia they took care of every cruise my parents were on diamond plus on royal, plus others. They helped us till covid and decided that was their sign to retire. I couldn't get ahold of new people and started direct booking. I am solo on most cruises. It is my get away. Should I keep direct booking or is there and agency that will deal with a single guy?

Sitting here at 743pm it just started it's 730 trip! And I'm already done with seat! Wow! A school stadium bench has this beat!

There used to be a limit in docs. I checked my new docs for trip tomorrow and there is no mention of a limit!
