The ship takes on 6,000-10,000 pounds of sugar on embarkation to remedy this.

We often choose a later boarding time because it means we don't have to get up early and rush to get to the ship. Our overnight(s) pre-cruise are part of our holiday and we want to enjoy those too.
When you board later, depending on the time you set foot on the ship, your stateroom may already be open so you can go straight there and dump your carry-ons rather than having to drag them around the ship with you. Also the early boarders will mostly have finished their lunch by then and will be heading off to find their cabins, freeing up space in the dining venues.
Another good option is to book a boarding day lunch at one of the speciality dining venues. They are about half the price of dinner at the same venues and the menus are almost the same. We did this on our last cruise and found it to be a great experience to start our cruise.

I did a little more research and wanted to post some information I found in case someone else has the same question. It looks like there is luggage storage at the Vancouver port (for a cost of course). This may work well for my purposes. https://www.portvancouver.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/WCS-Bagdrop.pdf

In that case, my opinion is you try out all of the various dining options that you want. It is vacation after all. From what I’ve read RC seems to accommodate special needs pretty well. During the tubie days, the most stressful part was taking everything with me that I needed. My son still has medications that I stress about bringing on vacation. But I’m hoping once we are on the cruise we can just enjoy all that there is to offer. Hope your family has a great time!

I have my 1st cruise coming up in June so can’t help with specific cruise questions. However, my son had a feeding tube for 2 years so I’m familiar with that. I guess the main question to ask yourself is: How long can your daughter tolerate sitting at the table? My understanding is the Main Dining Room is a longer experience.
If being at the table is not an issue I say try out the Main Dining Room. You can make it a really nice evening. And if it doesn’t work out one night you always have the option of Windjammer.
I would tube feed my son wherever it needed to be done. He was on a pump so it was a little different in that regard.
