Hi, With an Ocean View Balcony room booked i should be able to upgrade 2 levels up right ? So that means i should expect a grand suite as the top offer right? What if they accept an offer early - could i in theory go in and make a new bid on two levels higher ? (I know they most likely were given away, but you never know)

If you dont see it on the card just go mention to the casino host that you have points enough for prime! Then they will check and put a sticker on your card

We use Wise and deposit a sum in our local currency there and then they convert at a far better rate than my bank does. Saved a lot doing that

Worst case you will get your complimentary interior room for Prime late April! So no matter what you got a future cruise for two to book! If you are both Prime you could potentially get two unless you combine the offers for a single trip in an Oceanview instead! However I usually get 1 offer per month and its usually for 2 months ahead! So without me having flexibility its not a lot i can jump on usually.

Just note that the book onboard bonus could be a free cruise already from 800 points instead of 1500 but yea always ask the casino host or look for this sign! Its always on the casino host desk or by the cashier.

Yes you can get a free cruise on select itinaries (tons to choose from during the entire year)! If you book onboard with nextcruise you get the bonus listed in that column! If you dont use that one you have 30 days to use it at home without the nextcruise bonus. You can also pay the $200 deposit while onboard and book when you get home and keep the bonus! But i think you only have 7 days in that case!

If you enjoy it its worth it! People who dont understand the gains you get will just see you as an extreme gambler i see it as fun, benefits (drinks etc.) and free cruises

Here is what you can earn from getting X amount of points on the same cruise only one can be earned per cruise and ofc. The best one based on the points you earn

Once you get 2500 points you get the status of "Prime" which unlocks free drinks in the casino for the one who got the status! So its free for everyone who got 2500 points within the current casino year (April -》March) and then also sticks for the following year after you got it. So earn it in 2023 and you got it until end of March 2025. If you earn 2500 in the meantime you get it for the next year as well! So maintain 2500 points per year and keep the free drinks + a free interior cabin per year

And then I also got Prime again (2500 points) which means I also got an additional 7 night interior room I can book for free later + free drinks for a year inside the casino on any RC cruise! You still have to pay Port fees and taxes + gratuities So it can be a good way to save money if you know you want to cruise a lot in a year

Not really - I have australian employees in my company so im fully aware of when they could travel and not! It was not as extreme as you make it The big issue was more foreigners not being allowed in

I lifted and shifted just like they did... its the same cruise we are talking about! Please do note that Austrlians could travel abroad for most of the time - it was "just" closed for foreigners

My cruise is in Australia... so really no difference here! It was cancelled twice, so waited 3 years for it

Just for an update for everybody! They wouldn't give double points even though they confirmed that Australian members on the same itinerary will get double points Ridiculous in my head as our cruises were cancelled/postponed/changed for the exact same reasons

Ovation has an 18 night transpacific in April which im going on! Really look forward to that one Sydney, Bay of Island (NZ), Auckland (NZ), Tahiti, Moorea (2 days - originally was Bora Bora as well, but they changed it to be this port for two days instead) and ends in Hawaii Saw a 20 night one a few years ago

On an Android i think my settings are default! I will note that i did not use it a lot - i only know i got notifications because my girlfriend tried to write once and I got the notification about it! As we got Voom every time we cruise we just use our regular social media instead
