  1. Glad you enjoyed your tour and can't wait for mine.
  2. FWIW, mine was $106.99 PP and even though it's now sold out, the price went up to $188.99
  3. I also booked this for my upcoming Ovation of the Seas 9/9 sailing. Sold out in a day so considering myself lucky. Looking forward to seeing how things run behind the scenes.
  4. My Sep 2022 Alaska sailing on OOTS is currently showing $66.99. The lowest I saw 20+ days ago was $62.99
  5. It does list the following so I guess we should expect drinking water in 12 oz bottles. Overview After a full day of adventure, satisfy your thirst with the crisp taste of purified water. Our lightweight, easy-to-transport bottles are the perfect way to hydrate after a day of exciting shore excursions and nonstop entertainment. What's Included Select a package of 12 or 24 (12-oz) bottles once you reserve.
  6. Thanks L2C2002. I ordered 36 cans for my wife and myself so we should be good for a week. Definitely didn't want to be stuck with 36 huge bottles for only 7 days .
  7. I know this is from an old post, but can anyone verify what the current size water bottles are when you order? I've already pre-ordered and don't want to risk having waaaay too much water for 1 week.
  8. We were lucky and both rooms booked were only separated by 5 cabins on the 9th deck of Ovation OTS, unobstructed balconies. So I would have to say we were VERY happy.
  9. Thanks Mike. I'm not rich either but also want to be able to give a little more when possible. I just wanted to avoid too small a tip so thanks to all for the different viewpoints and help.
  10. So it sounds like $2 a pop on top of the prepaid gratuities wouldn't be considered "too little" just for the heck of it, thanks Ashley.
  11. We've prepaid the tips for our upcoming Sep cruise but wanted to check if there is a consensus for any additional cash tips for crew members. Would $1-$2 per tip be considered acceptable, or too low? I welcome the input, thanks.
  12. Our sailing is Sep 9th on OTS, did you encounter any issues or delays with luggage check-in as some have mentioned here?
  13. Hi CruisingNewb, I was logged into my account but it seems to be a glitch as all of my purchases have mysteriously found their way back into my account, lol, thanks.
  14. Ok, it must have been another Royal glitch. All of a sudden my purchases are showing up again, like just this moment. Chalk this up to a nervous newbie and thanks to you both for chiming in!
  15. Hi CrimsonC, It doesn't show reserved anymore, like it did before. That's what I find most odd, the charges were there and showed reserved etc. for the last week, then bam, all of it is missing now. I do have the charges on my CC statement still do may have to call them shortly, thanks.
  16. Hi All, I've been lurking and learning for a little while and we finally booked our 1st cruise for Alaska thanks to the advice gleaned from numerous posts. We just received our cabin assignments last night on our GTY rooms (The barcode trick worked 100% for both our rooms!) and received our DOCs this morning. However, I just noticed that most of the pre-purchases we made are somehow missing from my account history now, does anyone know if this is normal and should I be worried? I will try to call RCI later today but thought I would also ask this question here in case I'm just a newbie who is worried about something that is nothing more than a glitch in their systems? Thanks in advance for any help!
  17. Thanks to everyone for the advice on this forum. Based on the updates from multiple threads, we have booked OnPoint for our 1st RC cruise in Sep to Alaska and am keeping RT&T as a backup just in case!
