Going on Allure and not spending a dime on dinner
EnSeven replied to Tony Sky's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
The Key exclusive times at Florider and the like are very limited, you do not need The Key to get your kids on a boogie board. You absolutely do not need to spend any extra money onboard beyond your cruise fare, and your plan sounds perfect. -
UDP: eating Maine lobsters & steaks without surcharges
EnSeven replied to forests_lover's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
Chops is not an a la carte restaurant. Your UDP will get you anything on the Chops menu that doesn't have a price. If an item has a price (Lobster $21), you will eat everything else for free, and pay $21 for the lobster. Izumi is a la carte. UDP gets $20 credit at Izumi. If you order $25 of food, you will pay $5. Hibachi has a $10 upcharge when you have UDP. You pay $10 and all other items are free. -
I don't drink enough alcohol for the DBP but will get the UDP and Refreshment Package. UDP comes with 40% off bottles of wine. If I order a bottle with dinner and don't finish it (solo traveller) what happens to the rest of the bottle? Can i take it to my room?

All Included Fare Option
EnSeven replied to AspiringCruisePlanner's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I personally wouldn't want to go on a cruise with unlimited alcohol for everyone. I appreciate that I can choose which options I want to include in my cruise price. -
Hi! This is ALSO my first roll call, 3rd cruise, and I'm travelling solo. My first cruise, I tried to go to a solo meet up but I suspect the 5 people in the vicinity were all trying to be inconspicuous so much that it didn't seem like a meetup was happening at all. I guess if i go and just repeat "Buffets Time" I'll get a different outcome

I wonder how many people read this thread yesterday and then we're pointing at cabins on a deck plan going "right wrong right wrong" I travel solo and just realised i prefer the couch by the balcony. With the door open it almost feels like it extends the space of both the sitting area and the balcony. My last cruise i had a solo cabin with large balcony but no sitting area, and it felt so squishy!

How many nights do you think that will be?
