I'm changing your username on here to "New Mpoole3"
You won't.
Also you probably can't.

Ohhh, but you'd have to actually go on a group cruise. Womp womp.
We've been over this. This is Matt's fault.

Well, Matt. I think you and I both know what this means. Research dining. I'll strap the Go-Pro to my fork, you umm, pay the bill?
I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE.

That in mind, I do hope someone has personal experience with this. While I'm sure they make some accomodation, I too am interested in feedback on the experience.
HAHA! Yes, I know Royal can be contacted... I was more looking for if someone had experiences with it / if the alternatives offered were actually good and not like... a cheese plate and a plain salad.

While I think it could be a fun job, it's also nearly an impossible job considering the thousands of people onboard that you have to entertain and try not to offend. Luckily, I once had a boss (dean) who said if I wasn't offending at least a few students each semester, then I wasn't doing my job and getting them to think.
I legitimately had the thought, "He had a boss named de.... ooooooooooooh."

So... something like this would be acceptable while in-room?

I can only speculate, but according to another site he "committed a schoolboy error." Best guest, in an attempt to be funny and entertaining, he took it too far and offended somebody and/or had too many complaints. However, I've only read good things about him.
That was my guess - they were hilarious but one of the jokes in the late night comedy show made me think, "... wait, is he allowed to say that?!"
I can guess it was something along those lines... truly unfortunate, because they really were funny and played off of each other really well. I was on the Feb 8 sailing with them.

Is there a Wonderland on Oasis?
Only doing specialty dining on Allure. Will likely do Sabor upon boarding for lunch to free up other restaurants for dinner. I'm thinking the Brazilian Steak House night 1, 150 Central Park night 2, Solarium Bistro night 3, Chops night 4, Giovani's night 5, and perhaps Izumi night 6 or back to Sabor.
There is on Harmony... so, yes! :D

If you were on an Oasis class ship with all specialty dining available and money was a non-issue, what would your dream dinner rotation be for a 7 day cruise and why?
Ex: Night 1, Wonderland - NIght 2, MDR/WJ... etc.

I'd love to do the Vancouver > Hawaii route one of these days.

What I mean by odds in your favor is there are only 3 places to bet and you pick two. Yes you will always loose one of your bets but you stand a better chance of winning than if you only bet on one at a time. Its worked for her and like I said, we don't expect to pay for the cruise but we can sit at the table for an hour or two and not loose too much.
Hmm. So if I'm just at the table playing small bets for a couple hours in the evening, Casino probably isn't going to care about me much, right?

It looks like the CD will be Jamie Fentiman. Someone on Cruise Critic keeps a running list.

I seriously just spent 20 minutes looking for that and I couldn't find it. HAHA! I was just reading it yesterday - I was on Indy right before Leigh and Frankie got fired. Looks like they're both CDs for Carnival now.
In addition to Grease, there was a late night comedy show that I went to that was good! There is also the ice skating shows which are kinda fun.

You asked about the one thing that I really do NOT play n the casino. I wish I could help but roulette is a big mystery to me. Some people seem to make money at roulette but it seems so random to me. I steer clear.
Sorry. No help
So then I'll broaden my question - what are your best casino tips? What's your game, why do you enjoy it, etc?
-
Robbo, Matt is correct. They usually have a $5 minimum at every game. On sea days, they will have a special $3 minimum usually until 2:00 or some specified time. I can't remember what that time is. Depending upon the ship and the size of the casino, they will have a number of different blackjack games including the perfect pair and "add to 20" side bet, etc. They also have the 3 card poker where you can use the dealer's cards, too. Lots of options. They will also usually have at least 1 "high" minimum BJ table - $50 or $100 minimum. Needless to say, you will never find me there !...but you will often find Dan there.'
That's how you get "noticed:" quickly, BTW. Play a number of hours at that table gets you noticed quickly !
Waytoo - what are your best Roulette tips? As someone who is fairly new to cruising and enjoys the casino, how can I use this to my advantage?
-
Duh! I guess because it wasn't set up as a true signature, I totally overlooked the "previous cruise" line. Perhaps my wife is correct: you lose a little bit of common sense once you earn the Ph.D.
Thanks!!!!!
I had a theory in college that there was some kind of bell curve around the Ph. D. title and when you eventually just go nuts
(Kidding!!!!)

Yes! We Have No Bananas (Daiquiris)
in Royal Caribbean Dining

SSJ444, my condolences. My fiance has the exact same hope... "I MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET A BANANA DAIQUIRI ON BOARD!" ... and his hopes are almost always diminished.
