  1. WAAAYTOOO, you always post such interesting and helpful information! :)
  2. You could always play pirates and commandeer someone else's room as your own.* You are at sea after all! * Don't take this advice. You'll get kicked off the ship.
  3. Hmm.. for some reason I have it in my mind that they do this on UK sailings but not on North American ones? I could be very wrong though.
  4. A lot of times if you Google the name of the tour, you can usually pull up at least one or two reliable results.
  5. And then maybe swinging by the Freestyle machine for some Poweraide... it works!
  6. I'm pretty sure this situation is exactly why Sorrento's exists.
  7. Something that I noticed - they only put the name of the menu on Oasis class itineraries, not on the Freedom and under class. You're not missing anything! I confused the hell out of myself on this before my cruise on Indy last year, and then realized it was an Oasis thing.
  8. As my favorite bartender once told me on board, "Hey! You're not driving!" as he poured me another drink. :)
  9. And since the packages are definitely valid across the ship, I strongly recommend a sea day bar hop! :)
  10. https://www.royalcaribbeanpresscenter.com/download-press-kit/7/ ^ there's a link out to the current MDR menus. With the changes coming to the menus across the fleet, I have no idea how long these will remain valid. However, the menu you'd be looking for with the other options on Lobster night would be the "Jasmine" menu.
  11. Another (less reliable) option could be to take a look at some old Cruise Compasses from the same itinerary, and see what the menu title was each night. From there you can usually get a good idea of what the menu might be.
  12. I'd love to do this as well. I keep saying the next time I get sent to Southern California for work, I'll book a 3 day cruise down to Ensenada. I don't necessarily WANT to book a Carnival cruise, but I will if RCCL isn't an option.
  13. HAHA! We already have our first anniversary cruise booked on Mariner...
  14. That's a good point - if you're flexible, wait. If you have something in mind - pre-book.
  15. Not quite the dynamic we have going, but I guess we do have a way to go.
  16. Oo... now that sounds good. Breakfast curry with a fried egg and a side of pineapple and mango.
  17. No problem! :) I'm in the exact same boat as you (pun intended), so if you ever need anyone to vent to or talk to about wedding or honeymoon planning feel free to send me a message!
  18. I think it usually gets moved to either the VCL, Promenade, or Centrum. But I also think I made that up.
  19. The point of the honeymoon is to relax and enjoy your time together. If you're stressing out about money and time off, you'll be missing the point. So what if it isn't "typical" or it's a while off? You get time for things to settle down and you get to truely enjoy that time with your new husband. Weddings are crazy, and this breaks it up for you a little. It sounds like you got a great deal on a ship you are really excited about - don't second guess that!
  20. I think that sounds like an excellent choice - and also that you found a great deal on a balcony room. Sounds like you are all set for an AMAZING honeymoon.
  21. This is an awesome advice... we're actually tapping a family member that doesn't drink to drive us to the airport in the morning for that reason. HAHA.
  22. I've also seen you can get better deals if you pre-book for one on Embarkation day, or if you pre-book an "early morning" appointment (at like, 8 AM). Looking at booking a 8 AM treatment for my upcoming cruise on Allure... Order coffee to the room at 7 AM to wake up slowly, and then just wander down to the spa!
  23. Particularly, during the Dreamworks character parade.
  24. Bibimbap is one of my favorite dishes in the world. Despite living in a suburban area with a million chain restaurants, I have an authentic Korean restaurant right down the street from my house that I love. There's also a chipotle-style bibimpab place that opened up like 10 minutes from my house and I am in love.
