I am booking our second cruise ever for October for my Wife’s birthday and was wondering if the ship is decorated for the Fall or Halloween holiday?

We’re on the IOTS right now and I bought the key because it was $2 more a day than the Surf & Stream during a sale. If you’re going to buy the internet package it’s definitely worth upgrading to the Key. We bypassed a long line at the Port to Security and checking in. Right on the Ship and straight to lunch after dropping off our carryons. So far that has been the best perks we used. We also had priority seats at the shows, but the theater was only half full so that’s not really a big deal. I’m waiting to see about disembarking with Key if that adds any value

I’m on the Independence of the Sea currently (Sept. 19-23) and wondering if it is normal for Royal Caribbean to put a $99.00 holding charge on your card before you settle your account. The app is just showing the couple of drinks I’ve put on my SeaPass card still. another first timer question, I guess my last since I’m actually on the boat and not one anymore . Lol

Another silly Newbie question - We don’t have a printer or computer at home so I’m printing out our luggage tags somewhere where they don’t do color copies. I assume it’s not a big deal, but you know what they say about that.

Can anyone tell me what brand of water you get with the Water Package? Not sure if Royal Caribbean has their own branded type or they use a name brand. as always Thank you for answering my Newbie questions

That makes sense about the different ship sizes and what they can offer. We are going to the Caribbean on our first cruise, but Thank You for the tip in Alaska because if we like cruising it’s probably going to be our next one to book.

Newbie here again with a question, can anyone tell me what the shirt sizes go up to in the RC gift shop? My wife likes to buy some shirts for souvenirs for family at home and we are a “fluffier” family so usually a 4xl or 5xl shirt. as always Thank You for your help and we cruise for the first time in September so I’m sure I’ll be popping up with more questions before then. Lol

I'm sorry you didn't have the experience that you were looking for on your cruise. As a newbie cruiser, I checked this Blog and several sites before picking a room to ensure we could use the balcony and have a good view line from it. I wish you would have just done a Google search and it could have helped you avoid the largest part of your complaint.

I would have loved to hit a bucket of balls off the cruise ship. maybe they could put in a golf simulator with a custom “course” of the Ocean

Another newbie question ( you know it was coming sooner or later, lol) do the ship deck(s) get very windy or the destinations in the Bahamas. I usually wear a fedora type hat ( like in the pic), but was wondering about buying something with a cord so it doesn’t go flying off my head. as always Thanks for reading and / or responding. We are cruising in September and as a Reds fan I won’t have to worry about missing any important games I’m afraid.

We have yet to take our first cruise and my Wife and I will definitely be on the lookout for some ducks. I didn’t know this was a thing, but I like it.

Hopefully you can find something else to watch since they won in six. Great finals!
