  1. Do the on board Starbucks accept gift cards? I found $40 worth of gift cards last night that I had completely forgotten about.
  2. A manager is needed to deal with a Karen.
  3. This is far more entertaining than I had expected.
  4. Tempting, but I want to get my first cruise under my belt before I look at themed adventures.
  5. I wonder if you can use your phone as a hotspot. Not sure if there are any preventative measures in place. Might also be security settings for browsers.
  6. Can you make a connection at all? What I mean is, can you see a wifi hotspot to connect to? If your wifi is turned off, then the laptop isn't going to connect to anything. Have you tried different browsers?
  7. Not without divine intervention.
  8. That makes me feel a bit better.
  9. Right, I get that. But my concern is that in this scenario, SHE could be unable to sail because of the protocols. Technically, I still could because I'm vaxxed so an exemption for me is irrelevant.
  10. I'll just email their special needs email address and ask.
  11. "full cash refunds for the unvaccinated". I'm vaccinated, so would that mean she would get the full refund and I would not should her examption not be granted? Her exemption is purely medical (and documented).
  12. When we're ready to book, we're going to contact RCL first. My 2 big questions will be: 1) Do we need to book first? (I'm leaning towards a yes on this) 2) If the exemption is not granted, will we be able to get a full refund or are we stuck with a future cruise credit?
  13. That almost makes me feel like we shouldn't bother trying to get an exemption.
  14. Only thing I'm concerned about is my GF is ineligible for the vax. While I understand that they grant exemptions, isn't that only a small percentage?
  15. I was wondering this myself. That site looks like it'll come in handy. Thanks.
  16. This is kind of how I imagine it'll be when you get off and then get right back on the ship.
  17. Might be worth double checking launch windows. While there might not be a launch scheduled for the day you're there, but launch scrubs/reschedules are not entirely uncommon. Perhaps a launch will be scrubbed and rescheduled for the day you'll be there. I'm still planning my first cruise, so I can completely understand your concerns. However, I don't entirely share your concerns for this particular port since I live in the county.
  18. Kennedy Space Center and the Astronaut Hall of Fame are quite fascinating. Can't speak much on travel to/from the pier as I live in the county.
  19. Depending on how much time you have, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is rather interesting if science is your jam. The Astronaut Hall of Fame is right down the road from KSC as well. Also, check out Spaceflightnow's launch schedule. Maybe you'll get lucky and get to watch a launch up close.
  20. Do you have to do the covid testing all over again or is a b2b considered an extension of the original cruise in that regard?
  21. Are you going to bother to disembark?
  22. Planning on my first cruise with my fiance hopefully sometime in 2023. Probably the Coco Cay - Cozumel - Port Canaveral route.
  23. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Astronaut Hall of Fame are about 20 min away if you need something to do. Not sure how long your ships will be in port though. There's also a place or 2 on the far end of the port to grab something to eat/drink as well.
  24. Keep in mind that Port Canaveral and Orlando are 2 different things. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is about 20 minutes away as is the Astronaut Hall of Fame.
