  1. This week a Detroit radio station was discussing how a band was not permitted into Canada due to some members on the bus having a DUI on their records. Other people, with alcohol offenses, started calling in with similar stories of being turned away at the border. Apparently, Canada has stricter laws than the US when it comes to any type of alcohol driving offense. I have planned a trip to Alaska that sails out of Seward, Alaska, and arrives in Vancouver, Canada, on Radiance of the Seas. My worry is I won’t be able to take the cruise because I have a DUI on my record from 1993. Has anyone come across this issue when sailing from US to Canada? Will I be allowed on the boat?

    Lyft/Uber

    Agree.

I did this in February when sailing on Independence of the Seas. For convenience, I just took Uber to my hotel because all of the MCO to Port Canaveral transportation companies I looked at only went to the port and not to hotels. I may have been able to save some money by going to the port first then to my hotel but thought it was too much of a hassle. So, I took Uber.

On the way back to the airport I took https://www.cortrans-shuttle.com for $25.
