  1. Looks like it may be a misinterpretation of the requirements. It appears the recovery from Covid within the last 6 months is the only thing mentioned along those lines. I would be wary of them saying the countries are requiring the booster, as most countries have not approved more than one booster at this point (outside of Israel). Italy just changed the requirements for boosters last week to knock it from 5 months after second dose to 4 months. Edit: You posted that vaccination certificate information, and I am guessing that is extremely likely to change. Unless additional boosters are permitted after the first their travel industry will tank!
  2. We just dressed smartly, less casual, but not formal. Fit in just fine. I like the advice of @ptod. That’s an excellent way to put it! Love it!
  3. In November on Freedom everyone got one, so maybe that applied to just the Anthem or certain ships about the “since the restart” thing. We certainly are not seniors unless they lowered the age.
  4. I don’t know how it is right now, but in November on Freedom even the unvaccinated dining room (we sat there the last night due to being in a large group), they were not distanced at all either. Just like the vaccinated MDR, the tables were right on top of each other in many areas.
  5. We were on Freedom in November, got bottles. Cruise planner only had the option for aluminum for our Allure trip in May. I like the idea of a plastic bottle to carry onboard. Great tip! Otherwise I am usually fine drinking water out of a can, as long as it has a screw top.
  6. Yes, unfortunately and especially with the CSO expiring, the media are going to be very closely watching what happens. To modify anything at this point, at least until the Omicron wave dies down (hopefully in less than 2 months as they are predicting), would be sure to be the top headline at any news organization. Warranted or not, the media sways public opinion way too easily as they control the full narrative. Royal is not going to budge one bit. Albeit not the strictest of the the cruise lines (DCL seems to be holding that title), they follow the orders they are given to a T.
  7. I know the PCR tests for unvaccinated will be harder. Even looking for the rapid tests around these parts is dang near impossible right now as well. It's going to be interesting trying to find testing for the cruises in the short-term. Long term I don't see any issues as that number of people getting tested will eventually begin to fall. If necessary, I would book your testing with the their party testing agencies at the port EARLY as a back-up.
