My last cruise was my first cruise but I had a Margarita mostly because we were sailing on what would have been my late grandpa's birthday and his other go to had been Johnny Walker on the rocks and that's not my thing lol. Now my next cruise is going to have too many choices lol

Yeah you can see the same things in cruise planner it's tied to the reservation. I wouldn't do that if you bought anything as a surprise because she'll see it. My partner tried to surprise me with lunch at Jamie's on a previous cruise but didn't realize how often I logged in and I saw it. It was still nice but definitely something to be mindful of. On the flip side it's nice and does mean they can check to make sure something else wasn't purchased before purchasing.

Anthem has Starbucks now? When we were on in 2019 it was the Seattle's Beat or some brand like that. Also I had that experience with the HP trivia. I'd just read the books but spaced on the movie stuff and my partner was just like I know nothing so I'm no help. Ooops lol. I think I enjoy the trivia that I dont know sometimes more than the stuff I do know.

Check In is supposed to open December 6th. I'm guessing it should be the same for app/non app.

I've only had Jamie's and that was in 2019 but I loved it. I enjoy Italian and it was still nice because there was a burger on the menu for lunch for my partner who's not an Italian food person. It was also my first cruise and I'm also someone that didn't get the MDR hate that I tend to see. Fresh Pasta was the draw for me. This upcoming cruise we're going to try more and I'm on the fence about Wonderland. The things on the menu that sound good sound really good and the other things I'm worried about. Also with my party of less adventurous food people I'm worried it's just going to be a No from them. I'm going to probably try to find a way even if I have to go by myself to go to Izumi because I really want to try some Sushi.

Not sure where you're coming from but a friend I know mentioned this as an option. Cruise Shuttle Hotels and transfers are the only options I could think of but I don't think that's really going to save you that much.

@twangsterSo if you choose MDR over CK is that wait staff not getting tipped? We plan on trying CK but also want to share the MDR experience with my in laws who've never cruised but I don't want staff to not be tipped. (we're going to be star class if that makes any difference.)
