Thanks. That makes sense. I want to book a European cruise for May but I don't get the annual prime until April 1. So not much time to plan at that point.

Yes, your annual prime cruise can be applied to an existing cruise.
I actually booked a cruise from Next cruise in Oct 2021 to sail Jan 2023. I made Prime in February 2022. I was able to apply my annual cruise to that Jan cruise, at the time I couldn't book another cruise because I didn't have vacation time.
I thought you could only go 12 months out. Can you book further out then as you did?

Does anyone know if it's possible to book a next cruise and then apply the annual complimentary cruise to that sailing? For example, I will be on a cruise next month..... I want to book a next cruise for later in the year at $200..........In April, I will receive a coupon for a free cruise interior ..............can I apply that coupon towards the next cruise i have booked?

They will size the car appropriately. For the 4 of us and our three suitcases, they had a minivan. How big are your bags, and what vehicle did they run the quote you with?
I was quoted 216 pounds for two people with two large bags.

Do you recall about what the price is to get from London to the South hampton port? I think I read over $200 per person, does that sound about right?
Disregard, I was able to get a quote. Are those cars a little small for two people and four bags?
thx

@Smithville Cruises we sailed out of Southampton in July with @Lovetocruise2002 on Anthem. You can read our joint blog for some perspectives. They were in London a few days early, and used blackberry cars (car service) to get to the port. We arrived the day before, as you are, and we immediately went to Southampton. We also used blackberry cars as our transport.
IMHO, I suggest that if you are flying in the day before, just book a car service and head to Southampton. Yes, it does make that travel day a bit longer, but it will eliminate an uncertainty the day of the cruise. Traffic can be bad getting down there which can cause some departure day anxiety. @Lovetocruise2002 originally had a 3 hour drive! Also by continuing to extend your day, it can help fight the jet lag, especially if you are like me, and can't sleep on a plane.
We stayed at a hotel that was a 3 minute drive to the port (Novotel Southampton). You can see the ship from the hotel. There is also an Ibis hotel in the same parking lot. Both are basic hotels, and are common chains in Europe, but are perfect for an overnight stay. FYI, unless you stay in Luxury accommodations, most hotels in Europe will have much smaller rooms than we are used to here in the States, so just keep that in the back of your head. I have pictures in the blog of our room. From this hotel, it's an easy walk to get out and explore the city. This is what we did to keep us up to fight the jet lag. They allowed us to store our bags as well since we arrived well before checkin.
Southampton is a neat city, and worth the exploration. London is so big, and you will be tired, that its hard to see enough in the one day you will be there.

Have any Diamond members who have been on Celebrity really noticed many benefits? When I crunch the benefits, it appears you get free drinks between 5 and 7 and a few discounts. It doesn't seem like a lot. Anyone with real experiences with this?

I am confused. Can anyone explain the current covid entry requirements to enter Spain? I am vaxxed but not boosted in the last 9 months. The way i now read it is i would be considered unvaxxed but if iprovide a negative test prior to entry i may be good?

With all the flight cancellations, I am a bit concerned about missing a cruise date. Anyone have good ideas on how to approach this? Would our cruise be refundable if it wasn't our fault with an airline cancellation?

RCL cancelled my whale/mendenhall excursion. I found an independent one that leaves at 3:30 and finishes at 8pm. The ship leaves at 9pm. Is that cutting it too close?
thanks for thoughts

What is normal for tipping bartenders, cabin attendants, etc outside of the gratuity? Do people normally tip the waiters or bartenders like in the casino with dollars?

i'm watching the escalation carefully with a cruise booked in April. Already a humanitarian crisis in Poland and potentially a migration crisis in Western Europe.

Anyone know if getting a latte in the morning is possible delivered to the room? Would this incur the standard 10$ room service charge? thx

Any ideas of where the Wonder will go after Port Canaveral in 2023? It shows cruises through October of 2023 in Port Canaveral but nothing after.

Has anyone going on a TA next year ever considered what if by chance they test positive while abroad before their flight or cruise back. Then end up being stuck in the other country until quarantine is over and healthy again. This slight chance could create a problematic situation. Now i am weighing the risks and the odds.

yes, it is not covid related. The ship left about 9:45 last night and will arrive around 11:30

I noticed and was wondering the same thing. I'm also still waiting to see if they offer up any 2 x 2 night cruises out of Barcelona May 4 -8.

Interesting. I called to see if I could stay on if I booked the seven day on May 8 but the agent had no idea if that would be possible. Now, i wish i had it already booked before the change occurred.

So, if I have a 7 day already booked for say July, then when I get the free complimentary in April, I could apply it to the July booked? What about the deposit? I am guessing that wouldn't be returned.
