  1. I would call the access department and just make sure they have you sorted. 1-866-592-7225
  2. I would think it’s open as soon as soon as the ship starts to let passengers off since ride shares and Taxis would have to pick up. I had the misfortune of leaving my laptop on the ship after getting back from Cruise out of Cape Liberty. I got all the way to the airport before figuring it out, Ubered back, found some orange vest men to help me find a manager, and got it back fairly quickly. But in that time frame (probably around 10 am) the buildings were not open, and it was quite chaotic.
  3. I was reading a review from a guy who did an Alaskan cruise that stopped in Canada. He said it was funny because he got asked so many times if he’d filled out his Arrive Can, no one ever asked to see it. I’m sure they look in the computer, but for all that it’s like you just want to show it to someone!
  4. I hope so. I would much rather see them address the working conditions of the crew. If your crew it’s not taken care of your business is not going to thrive.
  5. Sorry if this has already been posted. Princess has updated a bit now as well. Unvaxxed are welcome, first come first serve, you have to apply for an exemption, but you don't have to jump through hoops, you just have to let them know since they are limiting unvaxxed to 10% right now and it's first come, first serve. Unvaxxed do have to take a PCR test three days out and an antigen day of. https://www.princess.com/plan/cruise-with-confidence/cruise-health/frequently-asked-questions/us-cruises/
  6. I can't verify this, but someone on CC said that they no longer have the vaccination status thing on their Carnival booking survey.
  7. I don’t know if Oasis is exactly like Harmony, but Harmony had The Living Room as the teen club and it was my kid’s favorite one.
  8. If it were really about safety then I’d think the testing would stay and the vaccine requirement would go. You’re right, public perception is everything. If the testing goes then the cases also go. You can find what you don’t track.
  9. I see that they are having unvaccinated complete a negative antigen test. That’s the easiest one, right? Like the Binax? Not PCR?
  10. When did you sail with them? I know they’re pretty new, so maybe working out the kinks?
  11. Odd. So many bloggers have long videos up, all great things, with some exceptions (like too much fitness equipment outside, and no maps). Maybe the show is sensationalized for TV?
  12. I just watched a whole video from La Lida Loca. Is just everything included on Virgin other than alcoholic drinks? Like all the specialty restaurants, soda, etc? Free wifi, room service anywhere you are? It doesn't sound like traditional cruising, but it does sound intriguing.
  13. I've been watching videos of The Scarlet Lady, I must be missing something. It looks like a pretty modern ship (maybe a bit too sparsely decorated), but otherwise normal? I'm not seeing anything weird or hearing anything odd from the people making the videos. Some of that stuff sounds incredibly cool, like Vegas at sea. I wouldn't want to see a burlesque show, but I don't have to go to it, so that's good. The wandering pop up entertainment sounds hilarious. And how nice that internet is included. I would be sad to cruise without my kids, but I think if one of the family lines doesn't drop the mandates then I'll have to take my mom in August or September on Virgin.
  14. Yeah, and though Virgin won't take a ton of customers from the big lines, they are certainly more likely to take business in the coming months since summer is ending and most people aren't traveling with kids until next year. Especially if you can call first to check unvaccinated availability, so much easier than booking and hoping. And I've had this conversation with about a billion people today, so if I already said that on here, sorry!
  15. I don’t think the unvaccinated numbers ever included toddlers. I’m pretty sure it was only including those who were eligible for the vaccine. I don’t think they ever updated after the shots were approved for 6 months and up. If I recall correctly.
  16. Every single day when I spend an hour on my Peloton I remind myself that it's all worth it so I can indulge when the time comes to indulge.
  17. I just double checked, looks like I got my Mom the soda/internet package as well (she loves her Diet Cokes) so even less code fighting.
  18. Yes, that's what I'm used to, the four little slips, lol. Thankfully the boys will have their own codes since they get the soda plan, and my mom and I can fight over the other two.
