You should be fine with the day you've reserved. The only time I observed crowds on the pool decks and solarium were during sea days. I believe you'll enjoy the casita (we only live once)!

Just completed a B2B on the Navigator in January. Not certain when your cruise is but it was pretty chilly on board (Lido deck) the first 2 days or so upon departing the LA cruise terminal. Not many casitas were occupied. About the 3rd day it warmed up enough. And as Xaa said, its yours for the day. Enjoy your casita and your cruise !

A magnificent cruise!

We did meet him, and the other staff members there! All are super nice! Playmakers was our “hangout”. I love that venue! We enjoyed a magnificent cruise! The crowds during the football games were huge, standing room only!

Hello! I can understand the reason for the concern. Historically cruise ships won't stop somewhere if they perceive there will be a threat to the passengers. The itinerary could be changed at any time. I always register with the Safe Travelers Program offered by the US State Department, and I've received emails advising of limit to travel in certain ports. I'd say stay tuned for any possible update from Royal that could come at any time, even during the cruise. The good thing for all of us is, if we're concerned with something going on at any part of call, we always have the option to remain on the ship. I hope this helps alleviate some of your concern. We utilized GE upon our return to IAD yesterday, from Japan. We were able to scan our passports at the kiosk, and avoid the huge line of travelers that were waiting to speak to a Customs representative. Worked seamless.

You should both receive an email, once you’re “conditionally approved “. Once you make your interview appointment, it’s good to keep checking the website because people will cancel and other appointment dates will invariably open up.

Hi! DW and I applied for GE in August. We were fortunate to get an interview in early December (2 hr drive from our home). The interview lasted less than 10 minutes (photo/fingerprinting/ answering various questions). We received our cards in the mail, one day prior to departing on our current trip to Japan . We were able to use TSA pre-check for this trip and that was great! Was wondering if others had any experiences they’d like to share with GE.

Welcome everyone! I’m seeing the same thing regarding excursions on the RC website. It is odd, with the cruise being this close. Hopefully, we’ll see additional excursions listed soon.

It’s been a few years since we ate there. We both enjoyed the dining experience. I wish more RC ships had the Samba Grill.
