  1. I saw this as well and have a couple of thoughts:  1) odd that this is posted in a travel magazine vs. announced by the company themselves.  2) maybe it will be one "free" cruise if you buy the companion fare.  Just a thought.  Nowhere in the article or website does it say that they are giving away 2 fares for each winner. It will be interesting to see how this evolves!

Well, I think we've found yet another thoughtless, stupid questionnaire design that's going to result in a lot of people wasting a lot of time and effort sorting out the volunteers.

The very least they should've had a way to select the test cruises one wanted to be considered for. So now they'll randomly pick people for particular sailings and have to endure lots of rejections and then continue repeating the process till they get the number of volunteers they need for each.

Then, you have to wonder if this process will be repeated for the rest of the ships.  Pretty labor intensive!

  3. We sailed once with our entire family including an 8 month old grandson and all had a fantastic time.  Obviously this is up to you, but just chiming in that sailing with a baby can be great.  We booked a shady beach bed on Labadee and he napped the afternoon away.  I kept him for the day while his parents went scuba diving in Cozumel, so it was truly a fanstastic get away for all of us.   In Falmouth, we just walked around the port area and ate at Margaritaville, just kind of chillaxed:)

I join those before me in offering congratulations!

  4. We are booked on the Anthem for June and are awaiting cancellation on that one.  We are also booked on a B2B on the Mariner in August out of Port Canaveral.  I think that that there is a half way decent chance that this could go as they are 3 and 4 day cruises.  I booked them that way on purpose, as opposed to a 7 day, hoping that they could be sailing by then.  There have been theories out there that shorter hops from Florida might be more likely to sail and we won't cry if we miss Nassau and at least get to go to Coco Cay.

We also have a January '22 cruise booked and a Fjord/Arctic cruise booked for July'22 to replace this June's Fjord cruise, which is a replacement for "last" year's Fjord cruise!

    We can hope.
